I've had UDBuilder crash on me for the last time. Don't you dare ask me what version I'm using.

I've been using UDB to make my DBP38 map, hasn't crashed on me yet. What a blessing, because I have very little time to finish my map.

I can't get UDB to even run on my system. It crashes upon starting.
GZDB works pretty well so far.
Up until a couple of weeks ago I was using plain old DB. Didn't know any better.

I'm still using Slade3, since I run Manjaro Linux. It will crash randomly when I try to undo certain actions, and there are a few other wonky behaviors, but other than that it's solid as hell.

Fuck GZDoom builder, all my homies use Doom Builder 2
That thing would BSOD my old laptop all the time. Funnily enough, it went away once I upgraded to Windows 10. I still never used it because I found it ugly.
A shame DB2 looks like crap on the higher resolution of my new laptop. I'd fix that shit if I could code but I can't.
That's also totally the reason why I haven't made a map since 2018.

I've literally only ever used GZ Builder, UDB lags for me, makes laying linedefs take twice as long

And here I was gonna dredge DeePsea out of retirement.
Edit: I bet someone could whip up a UDMF editor extension for Emacs. If they really wanted to, anyway.
