"Ghost Town" from Plutonia is such a cool name for a doom map I wish I thought of it myself

"Go Fuck Yourself" from Sunlust immediately comes to mind.
I bet there were some names that I thought I invented, but then realized I was merely recalling a level name from an existing wad. However, since I am not thinking about level names that often now that I almost gave up on mapping, can't recall anything else at the moment.

E.M. The mapname "I will shove a rake up your anus" stands out among the others in this wad, it was surely made with love. The rest was the author obviously running out of his inspiration. It is easy to analyze why: the name of the first map is unapologetic, it seems to insult the player or reader, and is also original. The rest of names, however, attempt to achieve humour by self-criticism, and this trope is overused as well as actual implementations being not that original at all. It also seems as if author felt the need to defend himself coming up with that name against the imagionary public that may not take it so well. This is why there are a lot of grindcore bands [ optional: that try to be funny] but only one Anal Cunt. You have to come up with map/song/album names like a real psychopath, or actually be one. Also protip is to look at some of Anal Cunt albums: "It Just Gets Worse", "I Like It When You Die" and "40 More Reasons To Hate Us". Even the "rake" one doesn't quite live up to song names in there.

this is now the concepts for maps named after anal cunt songs thread Women: Nature's Punching Bag would be a cool name for a berserk focussed map if you replaced the sprites with the ones from sirens.wadI Went Back In Time and Voted for Hitler would be a good name for a Wolfenstein themed map (the exit switch could have a custom texture saying 'VOTING BOOTH'; naturally to end the level you have to switch it to the Hitler side) Yay It's Pink! would have a lot of Pinkies and Barons etc. |

Yeah, if it is strictly Anal Cunt's song names, then I can agree this level of edginess is acceptable. The misogyny did make me uncomfortable though. Voting for Hitler is passable, cause I would naturally do that (the voting, I mean, not the map).

I make it plain to anyone who'll listen that "you're a drunk loser, and not the cool kind" is my all-time favorite map name.
It's literally perfect, and I feel immense envy knowing I'll never give anything a name that rad as long as I live.
