He keeps saying almost every year that he's selling these things as a result of spring cleaning. It makes no sense to me. I'm not the most anally organized person in the world, but all my Doom stuff is all in one place. How does he keep unearthing new Doom stuff each year that he didn't get rid of the year before? He didn't clean out this stuff last time? The only way this makes sense to me is that his house is some labyrinthine maze with nonsensical architecture and keeps losing his stuff to secret passages. Each year he discovers some new secret he never knew before containing a treasure trove of new Doom stuff he seemingly misplaced.

More like Wolf3D imho. This reminds me of a true crime documentary I saw, about a guy that built a secret bunker under his house to hide his secret family, from his other family. He had 7 children with his daughter, and kept them underground for over a decade, never seeing the light of day. Until one day they were discovered. |

The answer is simple. He has an opening to a pocket dimension in his house, so he can occasionally pull stuff out of a different time and place. Most of time he just gets his missing left socks though.
