I have fucked up and got kicked out my house with no keys and some really awkward stuff in my bags for this occasion (I mean, my clothes. I had taken sportswear but no spare underwear, somehow didn't occur to me in hurry. Also, rest asured that all stuff is mine and doesn't belong to someone else in case you misread "stuff in bags". Also, some pills - but only some, as I have to take a lot of them now that my physical health condition became clear). This laptop I am writing from is not the one with all the Doom stuff (I had several PCs, among them this laptop that I actually could bring with me when shit happened)
So I might not be able to give feedback on Doom maps, and whether I will have Internet connection wherever I will be next is also a question. Hopefully, I will not disappear completely for a long time because that would mean worse - that I am dead or in deep shit. Otherwise, expect me to show up occasionally and maybe even write some stuff.
P.S. I could have actually foreseen and acted to prevent this situation, but instead I was preoccupied with other people concerns rather than mine... I still got money to basically go wherever, even another country in most extreme case, as long as nothing bad happens to money, of course. The thing is, I have no experience how to deal with it - renting flats and the like. Also, I actually still own half of that house I got kicked from, but better to stay from that one for good cause I stirred some shit up. Currently in a hostel and looking where to move next, trying through both old friends and new. It would be nice to know, just in case, what stuff do you take with you if you face a similar situation to mine.

Oh shit @vigilantdoomer that sounds like it sucks. Are you going to get a chance to go back and gather the rest of your stuff? It sounds like you don't wanna deal with those people anymore.
I've been living in the same place for almost 10 years so I've forgotten what it's like to have to abruptly leave. One of those random things that don't seem very important until ya don't have it is a towel and washcloth (or anything else you need when and after bathing)

I don't have experience with flat renting, but my common sense tells me that you look around the web and the streets for any flats available to rent, get tours of the place, gauge a price, do that for 5 or so flats, and then eventually rent the best of the bunch.

Advice really depends on what country you are in... I've been homeless myself before, and honestly your best bet is to look for a Christian outreach program like the Salvation Army or some other tub-thumping Jesusy organization. Religious or not, these dudes will put you in touch with the right people.
Good luck.

Sorry this is happening to you.
You should inquire online to for room mates, it doesn't have to be people you know. There are tons of people that do it, and it seems like a quick fix for now.

If you have your laptop and you are able to find internet access, maybe set up a PayPal or Venmo. That way people could send you some money to help keep you afloat until things settle down.

Fuck man... I hope you'll be alright. Until then, Kontra's advice seems pretty sound.

I called a friend who (as it turned out) has experience in renting business and the rest of house-related stuff (whatever this profession is called in English) So I actually rented a flat in Satuday and got the Internet today just now, everything is going cool because fortunately have money yet. Although spending a lot and this doesn't feels so good, the unplanned relocation is such a cash burner.
Thanks everyone for advice (although I couldn't read it for some time xD), I will need some equipment before can playtest doom again. Actually, I managed to get some stuff from my old flat (negotiated it), but can't get the rest of computer equipment just yet.

In regards to how friend was helpful, he was cool enough that he managed to scroll through the list of flat rental offers and eliminate all the fake/shit ones, and found a proper offer on his second phone call. It took like 4 hours from him starting to look to signing the papers with the flat owner. Yes, I understand there was some luck involved too, it was not a given we would arrive and it would be all true, but it was.

Glad to hear you're landing on your feet, given the circumstances.

I had to pack my shit up and leave once right after a job interview. the guy went back to doing meth and he told me he could handle it so you know how that goes. The guy trashed the place. like full blown dumpster fire garbage. I didnt even get the job. that's a not a moment of my life I'd ever want to live again. it sucks at first but it gets better. remember to celebrate when things start to smooth out. fingers crossed your new situation works out
