Tim Rogers from Action Button games released a video on YouTube of his video game review series reviewing Doom. It's edited and shot pretty well and still clocks in over three and a half hours. His review style is not like anything I've seen before. It's not a let's play, and it's not quite a descriptive analysis of the game content but rather a tangential, exhaustive, autobiographical storytelling of his fondest and also more embarrassing memories of his experiences in life surrounding Doom, how he came to appreciate it in its entirety, and his pursuit to rid himself of the ”doom poser" label he gave himself.
He also has a pretty vibrant vocabulary and magnetic orating style I can't get enough of. It's a really fun watch if you have the time for it. I had to watch it in hour long segments, but I couldn't wait to watch each part. Highly recommend if you're a nostalgia nerd like me.
