I have a YouTube channel where I do mostly blind Let's Play videos (UV pistol starts unless specifically requested otherwise) , with live voice commentary (in English): www.youtube.com/user/kakhome1I take requests to record DooM maps or wads! So if you'd like to see something please just post your request on this thread. It may be a whole wad, part of a wad, or just one map; and it does NOT have to (though can) be something you authored. Please note I'll try to do whatever requests I receive in order, but I do not exclusively record wads and levels requested here, so it may take some time before your request is up. I'll post the video when it is ready, however. Should be all good to get started from here! |

I'll try to get a video out on this one in the next 3-5 days, since it is for testing purposes. Any specific maps I should prioritize? (I do pistol starts.) I'll also link to any DBP videos on this thread, to date I have one I did for Occult Secrets already, first two maps: |

thanks kakhome1, looking forward to the video. The nature of the set means the maps are all quite short, so naturally I think you should play all of them! |

DBP25 video! Featuring maps by Big ol' Billy, dmdr, and Vertigo (in that order). Found potential issue with a door in Vertigo's map, to the Cyberdemon room, seems it only occurs sometimes though. All commentary here or on video is welcome and appreciated! |

Cheers kakhome1 ! I enjoyed your commentary, a lot of people are too quiet in streaming videos so you can't tell what they're thinking or if they're enjoying themselves, but I got a good sense of how you felt about the maps. I'm looking forward to the next video -- I hope you'll play MAP09 by joe-ilya next, people seem to either love it (like me) or hate it (like seed on DW) so I'm curious to know what you think. I'll take a look at that door in the editor too, I actually didn't notice you could open it from below as I always used the switch, which is in the room above the lift the BFG is on. Thanks for pointing that out! edit: also, yes, this is a Lovecraftian wad, but unlike the usual Lovecraft stuff I was mostly inspired by his fantasy stories set in the Dreamlands, hence why it's a bit more colourful than the usual stuff. There are definitely some gloomier levels in the set too though! |

I'm a bit late in posting this to here and quite a few members have seen this video already (thanks for all comments!) but still thought I'd post here that I played another couple of DBP25 maps...hope you enjoy(ed)!:
The new lava colors are cool too (purple from Stardate, gold from Interception II, I presume?).

I have to look at EDGE...never had success with it before I'm afraid. And hope my recorder can capture it. Provided all that I'd put it on my (admittedly fairly long) to do list!

No rush. The newest build is pretty stable so hopefully you'll have no trouble. And I've recorded with FRAPS and it worked.
Just really wanted to see someone else play the first map especially, because it's kind of non-linear I broke it by not playing as the author envisioned. Wanted to see if it's just me or would other people break it too 😂

Nope, not forgotten about anyone @doomro just busy with mostly playtesting videos. If you have a map you want tested at any point feel free to send it BTW! And yes, I can queue up Templum @vordakk - I have done Heretic before. In fact I have a playthrough of Dark Deity's Bastion but it doesn't have any voice  Just some typed out commentary. If interested though |
