What is MeltaDooM?
MeltADooM is a mod that is an heavily inspired by both Doom Delta, and MetaDooM.
but very straight up vanilla and minus the model rips (unless is fixed and its done right by extract 3d models to render them as
sprites with blender. i don't mind that type of method, with a bit of Franken-spriting to cover it up).
its basically, all weapons and monsters from Doom franchise (along the movie version) now in classic doom styled sprite
/THE PLAYER CLASSES (WIP)/
Marine: Basic but accessed on all weapons (along with quake and Wolfenstein ones as well)
Ranger: Big man, easier to have access on all heavy weapons while he went to hell and back from a slipgate
Combat Chassis: died once, reborn again in a new advanced Combat Chassis while you have an ability to hold two guns. if you think of this whole star wars bs?
the chassis system is REAL! ask Samuel Hayden on that one, if you can.
Scientist: you are sent with a group of marines to the facilities of UAC on the event where there was an invasion of creatures from Hell. you were not planned as a member of the expedition. your advantage will have certain use on weapons, DONT BE FOOLED! some weapons will give you a bad kickback when shooting at any demons
Major: you are commissioned to investigate the UAC base on all accounts. your marine pal was your deputy in the team. In order to quickly reach out, the rookie scientist who was commandeered by the Marines. your Scientist pal was not a planned member of the expedition.
/The Monsters/
the monsters from Doom 3, Doom 64, Doom 2016, and eternal will be all in classic style Doom sprites (THAT GOES FOR THE MOIVE COUNTERPART AS WELL)
