The first two maps from E4 of Ultimate Doom are regarded as the most out of place in terms of difficulty, so I remade the maps to fit more into the easier style the rest of E4 has. They're more spacious, less ammo and health starved, with some little touch-ups, such as detail and gimmicks (Mostly in E4M1). Link : www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom/a-c/balancE4E4M2 was made in 2015, so it's not as realized as in M1. The text file has some extra info. It runs on vanilla and replaces E4M1 and E4M9.

Pretty cool. I haven't played E4 in a while. I found these levels to be about the same difficulty as the originals. Ammo is still pretty tight imo. E4M1 DemoE4M2 Demo

Thank you for playing. Yeah, it's still ammo starved if you look for the NIN secret and don't crush the other barons at the red key, most of the difficulty that I toned down was in movement and health, the encounters are still tricky to maneuver. If you remember, E4M1 only feeds you a dozen health bonuses and nothing else, while this revision has health around almost every corner.

In all seriousness though, these are pretty good. Even though they're both really easy even on UV.
