I think he really captures the feel of the Aliens series with the level design.

Looks nice, Though i notice a lot of sprite and texture rips from old Alien games. Some even seem to originate from the old Aliens online multiplayer shooter from 1998.

The mod primarily takes the sprite and texture assets from Alien Trilogy. It is built on Alien Trilogy (UD) gameplay mod, expanded on by Payload. Moreover, the maps and new content is purely by Payload, as well. There are a some textures that have crept into Aliens Trilogy (UD), that I put in from Aliens the Ultimate Doom, which are all original textures. All of the floors, and ceilings are original, as well as some computer/tech wall. As a matter of fact, Payload did a splendid job of converting some of my original textures to light up in the dark, and animated them. The extra death states, and gore/gib sprites in Aliens Trilogy (UD) were created by me, using content from Alien Trilogy as well. As well, as some other random sprite frames, where it was needed.

Oh interesting. I still have to give it a decent look on GZDOOM so i based myself on the videos. i guess the textures and such start to look the same after a while, or perhaps they are so good that they remind me of the old barely known Aliens online game.

While I think from the perspective of a hardcore aliens fan, his points have merit. But I think this is a bit nitpicky, considering an insta-death from Facehuggers force the almost complete removal of them from the maps.
360 motion-tracker, was provided by Doomero on zdoom. I get that 180 was according to cannon, but It was very difficult to code.
Also, he was just watching, a video and not playing. The Aliens are fast, and the stun from their damage give the player somewhat of a chance against how fast they are.
Nevertheless, the exposure is appreciated.
The community loves it, so keep on, keeping on, Payload!
Sometimes, you need to compromise some aspects of the theme, to keep the FPS-gaming experience fun.
