That secret puzzle near the start of MAP01 is some real bullshit.
1. No hints, trial and error only
2. Error = certain death
3. Halfway through it, you gotta dodge fireballs while you're in it
4. The reward is a single rocket launcher
5. Which you have to use on the mancubus in order to get out.
6. It took me like 60 deaths to figure out how to solve it.
It's seriously, an enormous time sink and you leave with less resources than you entered with, which is saying something since it is located in a place before you acquire any items.

What do you think of the 123MB download size? It seems excessive and I made sure to download at home and put on USB before loading it in the work pc. Doesn't look that fun in the trailer and the screenshots, just a bunch of huge flat floored areas with detail on the ceiling and walls where you kill enemies that are mostly just put in your face or back to shoot them up.
At least it looks sexy, which is good enough for the public, like a pop music album, but at least Ancient Aliens has more interesting gameplay than what this one has to offer.

I tried to play, but got lost at first map, because I couldn't find where blue switch is after I found key. It feels like more modern Eternal Doom for me.
