You’re breaking the rules you law loving nut, can’t you see what 40oz posted above? You shouldn’t keep posting if you love your little laws so much.
Thanks for the lessons on police process, like I haven’t been alive for twice as long as you have. Do you think everyone is so stupid and that policing is such a mystery that you have to keep explaining the obvious to us? Or is that all you know? That and what you see on the news.

Then stop making what sound like uninformed statements, Mr. Wizard.
Done here for now, you're right, we shouldn't keep commanding this thread. We can talk in discord.

Stop repeating what you hear on your brainwashing news. It sounds uninformed to you because you have never seen an original thought in your whole fucking life, all 15 minutes of what you’ve had so far.

Entering the country illegally is a fucking misdemeanor. Imagine being pulled over for speeding and having your children detained without process or ability to contact you. That's what is happening. But maybe we'd all feel better if we made a road trip down there and started yelling at 4 year-olds and women to "fix yer own damn country!" I'm not advocating open boarders, I'm not advocating illegal entry, but what is happening to these people is flat out wrong. Answer this question for me: How do we know when one of these people who only commited a misdemeanor aren't a rapist, drug dealer, or murderer? How would you suggest we determine when someone should be detained and not? What criteria should there be? What do dangerous criminals look like? That is why they're detained. We don't know who is a threat and who isn't. Go ahead and tell me how "they aren't all like that." Duh, of course they aren't. But everyone who crosses over should receive the same standard treatment if it means keeping even one rapist, murderer, or drug dealer out or behind bars. Are you fucking kidding me? Your logic is to assume all migrants are rapists or murderers and judge them on that criteria alone? Holy fucking shit. I guess you forgot, but in America people are innocent until PROVEN guilty, and yes it even applies to brown people who may not speak English. This is why due process exists you clown, without it you can say anyone is a rapist or murderer with NO EVIDENCE. Trump's really got you scared shitless doesn't he? But of course this is the exact line of thinking he wants from his little flock. We're not talking about MS-13 members waltzing across the border, we're taking about LITTLE KIDS being taken from their parents with no recourse. Don't worry, if a toddler were going to rape you I think you could hold your own.

Man, your loving nature is so apparent in your post. I can feel the love. They aren't "taking" their kids. They are temporarily seperated while they are processed.
Get a clue, sir, and I'm going to get a nap. You all have a nice day in unicorn land where everyone is a nice guy and all the people who disagree are racists.
Edit: The following implication bores me.

We're not calling you racist, just implying that you're a dumb ignorant cunt. And they are taking their kids and even admit they don't know exactly where some of the kids are that belong to certain families... must be because all Mexicans look the same or something. And not knowing where the kids are implies something even more worrisome: have they been taken or given to families who are desperate to adopt, or worse being preyed upon by pedophiles?

Edit: The following implication bores me. Oh my God, stop fucking talking. You're just pissed because you can't blow smoke up my ass. My fingers aren't in my ears chanting 'Trump knows best. Trump knows best.' The immigration process is a bureaucratic nightmare that comprises several dozen offices in nearly every border state, including Florida. Over 2,000 children have been displaced since April when fuckhead began his zero tolerance shitfest. That 'processing' you glossed over can take months, or ever years. Florida for instance has the biggest uptick in immigration detention of any state in 2017. Government contracts for housing and detention centers costing upwards of 30 million dollars. Funding for nearly 32,000 detention beds a day. Nearly 2 billion dollar annually. Who do you think is paying for that? Santy Claus? Boy for all the Republicans bitching about their taxes being used to fund undocumented immigrant welfare you sure have no problem paying for roofs over their heads while they sit in detention, denied legal representation, denied healthcare, just locked up. Because of overflow, some adult immigrants end up in prisons which are already at capacity, for a civil offense, with hardened criminals, where they are assaulted or worse. Oh but it gets better. At least 72% of detainees nationwide are housed in detention centers that are privately owned, by huge lobbyists like Corrections Corporation of America, and GEO Group who love donating money to shit-tier Republicans to keep their beds full and keep that precious state funding coming in. GEO Group just last year held their massive fundraising campaign at one of Trump's Florida golf resorts. I'm sure that was just a coincidence, like every other charade this asshole is pulling, right? Oh sorry, am I boring you? Take that unicorn shit and shove it, do your goddamned homework, until then get your candy ass out of this thread. Oh and I never called you a racist. Don't play that victim bullshit with me.

It's Grug's two cents time: Here's where I stand: I do not advocate open borders and I certainly do not advocate for illegal immigration. Immigration in the US is not a right, it's a privilege that strictly regulated, even well before my ancestors came off the boats and landed in Ellis Island. The US government has the authority and right to regulate immigrants into the US and it is imperative to strictly enforce border laws, regardless of the circumstances. To any alien, you must enter the US with proper identification of yourself and of the others that are with you (including children). You can not sneak over bypassing immigration checkpoints. Media propaganda: The usual mainstream media outlets re-surfacing photos of kids in holding facilities from 2014 (Before Trumps administration). Absolutely dishonest, and yellow journalism at finest. Speaking of yellow journalism, Time magazine released a cover photo of a girl crying and Trump apparently just staring down at her, with a caption that says "Welcome to America" ... which turned out to be a completely falsely story of a 2-year-old Honduran girl being separated from their parents as a result of the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" policy on illegal immigration. Oh and here of the 2014 pictures media outlets are trying to use to blame Trump for. I see a striking similarity of how the media is recycling the same open border "appeal to emotion" propaganda of the dead Syrian kid washed up on the shores of Turkey. I do not wish to see the US become an immigration mess as seen in the EU zone. Huge problem people aren't taking into consideration: Crossing the border undocumented with kids is a HUGE red flag. This raises concerns of human trafficking for various unlawful purposes. Coming across undocumented is a huge fucking problem that should not be taken lightly. You're going to just make an assumption that an undocumented adult with undocumented child/children is really their kids? I'm not falling for any appeal to emotion "think of the kids" arguments spewed by the elite left. When you arrest someone, you put them in a detention center. Do you seriously want to put kids in the same detention center with the adults? No, you put children in a separate place until the parent(s) is ready to get shipped out. I'm basing my stance on logic and reason, not feelings and tears.

You're right Grug, the media's dishonest portrayal like the Time magazine cover is not helping anyone. And everyone knows Obama had some fairly controversial immigration policy, including the separation of kids when the parentage could not be verified or they were unaccompanied. This isn't about that. This is about Trump's assertion to frighten off legitimate asylum seekers or otherwise by simply separating families, no questions asked. Even according to the UN that is a violation of their human rights. He did reverse this decision, but the damage has been done. It's not going to absolve his ass of anything. It was a useless stopgap measure, it fixed nothing, it just overburdened an already overworked system to the breaking point. You think trafficking is happening at the border? Hundreds of children have already slipped through the cracks and are simply gone. Health and Human Services could barely keep up before, now with this massive shitstorm Trump placed on their doorstep what's your logic say about that outcome? www.nytimes.com/2018/04/26/us/politics/migrant-children-missing.html

This is about Trump's assertion to frighten off legitimate asylum seekers or otherwise by simply separating families, no questions asked. I understand this subject is very difficult, and I notice a lot of people in this thread are knee jerking out of emotion. So I thank you for your civil response. To seek asylum in the US, you have to show significant proof that you meet the criteria of persecution. It's got to be more than just "well my country has a problem with drug gangs, and I fear crime." Can we, the US accommodate hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people coming in claiming they are in desperate need of "asylum" ? I just don't see that practical especially with our country that does a piss poor job taking care of our own citizens. It doesn't make sense to pander to aliens and treat US citizens like second class people (perhaps for political gain?). I know this is an unpopular opinion and it sounds very tough, but I think people need to learn how to fix their own countries. Even according to the UN that is a violation of their human rights. I'll be honest here, I do advocate for children get re-united with their families (or legal guardians) after their parents finish their time for their crime. But the UN's opinion on human rights is useless. The UN has their own agenda of open borders, and they are very vocal about it. I very rarely hear the UN talk about human rights violations in South Africa (and we both know the horrors that happen in that country). The UN is moot and discredited by my books. You think trafficking is happening at the border? Hundreds of children have already slipped through the cracks and are simply gone. Health and Human Services could barely keep up before, now with this massive shitstorm Trump placed on their doorstep what's your logic say about that outcome? www.nytimes.com/2018/04/26/us/politics/migrant-children-missing.htmlThis is difficult, and unfortunately I don't know if I have a solution to this.

Here's a solution. Don't try to sneak into a foreign country with your children when the risks you face are very known. That's just bad parenting.
"But they are escaping violent gangs."
That sounds like their government's problem. Not ours.
Sorry, Justince. But logic and reason Trumps a sob story in my book.
Don't like my book? Stop reading it. Also, you seem to have forgotten this is a thread I started. You're hilarious for 1) Demanding I get out of this thread and 2) thinking that I would even consider listening to you.
But I will commend you on one thing. Your reactions do remind me why I keep far from most left wing ideas...so I should thank you for your continued motivation. Keep up the good work, buddy. I love you.

Justince and miano are having a level headed discussion now TOSser, and I'm sober and no longer wish to shoot the easy fish by stirring you up any more, so will you please and kindly shut the fuck up with ya juvenile political ideas of left and right and let other people talk. Also nobody gives a fuck who started this thread, you're in a public forum and have no power here, so why don't ya go and have another nap before you get grumpy again baby boy.

I've already made my stances and I stand by them. I don't feel the need to further explain any of my stances to any of you. The difference between us is that I'm not going to treat you like sink scum because we disagree. I don't care enough about whether or not people share my views to allow it to determine how I talk to them.

I was going to shut up and let you have the final word, because you get really upset when someone doesn’t, but I’ve just got to tell ya how funny you are when trying to process people disagreeing with or talking like shit to you. You turn into some hippy love child crossbred with a politically correct robot who has just come straight out of anger management class, and it’s just so unnatural Chicabro. Like when you told Justince that you love him and how you’re virtue signalling to me in your post above. How are you the same Trace that tells me about the hot pussy you’re chatting up online, or the same Trace that forwards me unwanted censored nudes that said hot pussy sends to you? By the way don’t send me that shit... I’m not impressed and it’s a stunning breach of privacy from someone who has aspirations of being a police officer, even if you are censoring said pics. Don’t you have to wait until you are a cop to become corrupt?

Either way it wasn’t very funny. I want you to understand something junior: just because I spoke to you one time that doesn’t make me your best friend until the end. Save that juvenile crap for your other juvenile buddies. That shit disgusts me quite honestly and I’ve looked at you in a lesser light since, but if you wanted to emulate your hero Donald you’re going the correct way about it.

There’s a reason I’m giving you so much shit about this topic Chicabro. Forget about the politics, forget the immigration issues, forget your zero tolerance attitude towards law enforcement of which you’re breaking at least one law that I know of. You drink and you’re under the age of 21, why not turn yourself in you menace to society? Zero tolerance has no middle ground buddy boy. The issue here is about people and humanity, fuck your hypocritical politics. Even forget about the parents who are only trying to do the best they can for their future and their children’s future. As a child do you know what it feels like to be separated from your parent/s? I do. I was one of those kids. When you’re young and your life security is suddenly not there do you know what that does for the mental wellbeing of that child? Do you know what that does for the stability of that family unit even after being reunited? If you did you wouldn’t be such a simple cunt about this situation. You are still basically a child Trace, and full of opinions that show you are trying to be smart and intelligent about the world around you, but what it does is show you as the know nothing gun loving law enforcing stereotypical John Wayne character. You don’t know life son, not yet and you are so fucking far from it that it’s not funny anymore. You’re entitled to your opinion of course, but you have to realise that such ignorant opinions will attract the likes of myself who has seen more in life by the age of ten than you likely will in your whole existence on this rock, and I will cunt you at every opportunity I get.

It's alright Glen. In fact that's the best thing we can do is just let him keep talking. Let the whole forum know how misinformed and ignorant of the situation he is, it's the best and easiest way to dismantle his own footing right underneath him. Go ahead and stand your ground Trace. If you looked two inches below the surface you, like any other semi-intelligent person, would see the administration's position is indefensible and has no bearing on the reality of what's happening to these people. Your solution of 'well they shouldn't come here' is a cowards response, they've made the choice and are going to keep coming. You stroke your neckbeard and tip the 'ol fedora while proclaiming "muh logic" like the typical universally mocked internet edgelord and that's the end of it for you. That's fine, we don't need to keep carrying on with someone who demonstrably has no grasp of the subject. Even Grug is man enough to admit he has few answers for this mounting, terrible issue while still showing at least some compassion. You know what, you got me again. Fuck the UN. These cartels and gangs are beheading, raping and murdering entire families just to show the world they can, and the UN has the balls to chide the US for shitty, badly executed policy. They are inept bunch of wankers that lost any real power decades ago. Fuck them. And while I'm on a roll, meanwhile back in North Korea: www.reuters.com/article/us-northkorea-missles-usa-report/u-s-intelligence-believes-north-korea-making-more-nuclear-bomb-fuel-despite-talks-nbc-idUSKBN1JQ03O?utm_source=reddit.comwww.nbcnews.com/news/north-korea/north-korea-has-increased-nuclear-production-secret-sites-say-u-n887926Still drinking that toldyaso Trace? Step aside a second and allow me to take a nice long piss into it. NK been playing the game long before you were swimming in dad's underpants, and the egomaniac failure sitting in the White House is the perfect rube to once again consolidate power right into Kim's fat hands. Kim is 10x more ruthless than Trump, and unlike the US, Kim's people are ready to follow him straight into Hell if they have to. Like every other worthless negotiation, it's all a smoke screen to get his arms race back into full gear, and in a few years we'll be staring down his barrels again, mark my fuckin' words.

This has been going on for decades. DECADES. The DNC only brought it up because it's their last ploy to win some swing voters. Luckily, Trump has has taken measures to try and reunite families but it's difficult to just hand over children to undocumented people. Obama has handed over children to cartels in the past. I see families suing the Trump presidency for this fiasco but this law has been in action since 1981. Obama separated more children in his two terms than Trump has of yet.

I see families suing the Trump presidency for this fiasco but this law has been in action since 1981. Obama separated more children in his two terms than Trump has of yet. It's pretty clear you didn't read any of the thread did you. This is NOT what people are protesting. The are protesting the immigration policy ratified by Trump in April. THIS YEAR. Yes it was rescinded, like any good leader who doesn't know what the fuck he's doing, but there's no word or definitive plan from the White House of how they're going to fix this giant mess it's already created. U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced in April that he had directed prosecutors along the southwest border “to have a zero tolerance policy toward immigration.”“Our goal is to prosecute every case that is brought to us,” Sessions said in April. “There must be consequences for illegal actions, and I am confident in the ability of our federal prosecutors to carry out this new mission.”In the six weeks after Sessions’ announcement, nearly 2,000 children have been separated from their families, a spokesman for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security told reporters Friday.Despite the president’s insistence that Democrats are to blame for the recent rash of separations, fact checkers with Politifact, Snopes and other organizations agree that the surge is not due to a law, but is due to Trump’s order. And now from Poltifact.com: Before the Trump administration, immigrants entering illegally as families were rarely prosecuted, said Sarah Pierce, an associate policy analyst of the U.S. Immigration Program at the Migration Policy Institute. Instead, immigrants were held in family detention centers until they were sent to appear before an immigration court or deported.Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced on April 6 the Homeland Security Department would now be referring all illegal border crossings to the Justice Department for prosecution. Facing criminal charges, parents would go to detention centers, leaving their children unaccompanied.
It’s the decision to prosecute parents that is causing the separations.
"That’s a choice they have made that’s largely different from what other administrations have done," said Peter Margulies, an immigration law and national security law professor at Roger Williams University School of Law.The 1997 Flores Settlement Agreement, for example, calls for the release of unaccompanied minors to family members or sponsors who can care for them as their immigration case is resolved. The Trafficking Victims Protection Re-authorization Act of 2008, which Trump has wrongly called "a Democrat rule," determines that unaccompanied minors be transferred to Health and Human Services custody. From Snopes: There is no federal law that stipulates that children and parents be separated at the border, no matter how families entered the United States. An increase in child detainees separated from parents stemmed directly from a change in enforcement policy repeatedly announced by Sessions in April and May 2018, under which adults (with or without children) are criminally prosecuted for attempting to enter the United States.See what a difference facts make instead of talking shit? I've got plenty more where that came from. The policy under previous administrations remained as-is, it's Trump who wanted to appear tough to his THEY TOOK OUR JERBS chanting redneck voters, not the DNC. But I guess he had to do something to appear competent, because his stupid wall he promised to a pack of foaming gullible hillbillies is still a campaign fable fantasy.

Like I've said previously, I don't advocate open boarders. I don't claim to have all the answers either. I do know that this current line of action, which Trump himself has all but admitted was a failure by rescinding the policy, was the absolute worse way to go about it. A country without strong boarders is no country at all, that I agree on. Maybe I came down hard on the idea of a wall, honestly it seems this administration isn't very serious about it anyway, but if given the choice a powerful, well constructed boarder wall is a better attempt than fucking with people's kids. That's where I draw the line, and I don't consider myself some limp-wristed liberal. In fact you can easily see many of my views are in staunch opposition of theirs, but I have my limits. That Forbes article was enlightening, and I agree that stronger measures need to be done to prevent cheating the system as it were in terms of citizenship. I'd love to see the breakdown of numbers of cost in detaining hundreds of thousands of immigrants for an indeterminate length of time versus a couple million cases of petty fruad though. I bet it would be surprising. THEY TOOK OUR JERBS chanting redneck voters You're sounding like Bucket now. This sir, is a very low blow! >
