The Boston Uprising, a competitive gaming league for Overwatch has terminated the contract for player Jonathan "Dreamkazper" Sanchez (21 years old) after it has been revealed that he was pursuing a sexual relationship with a 14-year old fan. The 14 year old girl posted leaks of direct message exchanges had with her where he coerced her to send nude pictures of herself. She also references face time calls that involved some questionable content. The sexual misconduct allegations are still under review but it has been announced that he will not be able to play in the league. I didn't look too deep into it but judging by the text she wrote the girl seems bright and good at analyzing her inner feelings. Seems like she will be able to get through this situation and return to a more normal life.

I mostly just stay away from competitive players, the whole fandom around them annoys me, almost every one of them that Streams on Twitch has a "lowlights" compilation of them throwing their shit out the cot.. then again I'm a nerd who prefers JRPG games because I can take my time while playing. ;P
Somewhat related.. but anyone know of a similar but worse case with a Star Craft 2 player named Destiny?
This story reminds me of another competitive sperg named Destiny whose an even bigger piece of shit; someone who on top of being a pedophile that uses hypotheticals to argue for incest with your six year old daughter, who would vindictively go through an entire channel's backlog and report every video if he thinks said channel is going to make a video on him, openly and casually admitted to stalking someone over an internet feud, having said guy's address mapped out, getting a license for a gun to kill this kid and his father but didn't follow through because "I was getting so much money at the time".. encouraged a suicidal friend to commit suicide (and laughing over it the next day after said friend actually commits suicide), getting Sargon's second channel terminated by filing 3 DMCAs because of footage showing where he was arguing in bad faith during a debate. You need 3 strikes for your channel to be terminated and Sargon's channel went from a clean record to "terminated" because of this guy. On top of that, there was the first stream in history which was run by a computer where you could vote what it does next.. it was getting tested by running a Pokemon game where fans would join and help it do a complete playthrough.. nerdy shit I know, but then you get Destiny and his hundreds of fans raiding the server and making it do the incorrect choices cuz "ha ha fuck Pokemon fans, amirite?".
