I was sad to hear about it - still thinking about paying tribute in some manner, maybe one of these days if I'm not too busy with my own projects. I'm really bummed though that it wasn't until he passed that we got to hear about where he's been these last years, but I guess there's not much one can do about it.

I don't think I've played any of his levels. Sounds like a real cool cat. It's weird in a way - how much his old wad files have inspired people, past present and future.
