Interesting choice, my first thought when I think of sexy MK girls is Kitana, but I played MKII before I played the first. Was Sonya in other games? And if so, was she played by an actor or was she a 3D model?
Also wtf is up with the sex appeal in a game where you're supposed to punch someone in through their throat and rip out their spinal cord?

I disagree, I think the original Sonya Blade was absolutely terrible. But then I've never been a fan of this particular character, not even in the newer incarnations seen in MK9 and MKX, same for Cassie and the other female characters introduced later on. I don't know, but these characters never appealed to me.
I prefer Jade and Kitana by FAR.

Sonya in the movie was kinda cute. But those tiny little girl arms...lol, a tin can could stop her punches.

 Kerri Hoskins from MK3 was also pretty hot. She was even in Playboy. |

But in MK9 she looks great imo, yet so do the majority of the characters, the art style they went for in this game was a great choice, too bad they changed it in MKX... Some characters still look great, but others such as Johnny... no, just no. |
