Khorus is taking a break from his Strife mapping and releasing a new Plutonia style map every Friday. This project is in the words of the author a spritual successor to his acclaimed megawad Khorus’ Speedy Shit. A cool concept with a proven pedigree mapper behind it results in looking forward to Fridays for the near future. Current download link (MAP01-06)

Speedy shit was fun as heck, gonna wait for a full 32map release before playing this though.

I think it was a mistake on Khorus' side to choose Plutonia. I'm expecting PL-like maps but getting something totally different so far, and that disappoints me a little even though the maps aren't bad. Maybe this is a very petty complaint.

That 'real' plutonia look is hard to get, even though it looks so simple. It's not just the textures, there's a kind of Doomy simplistic style that makes it work. I'm happy to see Khorus mapping for fun again though

I think that's a good thing. I was never much for Plutonia, or TNT for that matter. Plutonia 2 is all kinds of awesome to me though. On the topic at hand I didn't see a map06 yet, but when I do I'll update the link.
