Great classic RUSH song. 2:23 onwards reminds me so much of Doom. Something about the way the synthesizers sneak into the mix behind the huge, electric riffs. Awesomeness.

Never liked that Abramelin album art. haha. It looks like the box artwork for a Game Boy Advance game, lol. Nearly up there with Monstrosity's "Millennium" in terms of epic cheesiness. Eggs and a bridge portal? Umm, yeah... But hey, the music is good I think. You probably already know these though. lol, I remember only having access to a low res version of this cover art: www.metal-archives.com/albums/Monstrosity/In_Dark_Purity/4421and it looked like a giant preying mantis hoovering someone's room with a magic hoover that had sparks coming out of it... I think they're having a competition with Paul Speckman to see who can consistently make the worst cover art. |

Hey if you like crossover thrash you should definitely check out the Crumbsuckers album "Life of Dreams" from 1986. Fantastic record imo, probably my all-time favorite thing from this genre:

Ehh, I dunno. I really struggle with the whole 'comedy rock/metal' thing. It's not that I don't have a sense of humor... I just gotta get the right feel from the music, you know?
