Sweet, glad you liked it man. It's a forgotten gem. I agree it sounds a lot like Doom, especially this track (my favorite on the album):

Brian Ross is my favorite vocalist of all time. He's able to utilize his voice in ways that can tap into thoughtful, passionate inflections alongside more King Diamond-esque satanic falsetto shrieks. It's fucking brilliant, I love it.
Court in the Act (1983) is one of my favorite albums ever.
Brian was also in the band Blitzkrieg.

The Masters of Reality, led by Chris Goss who is the producer extraordinaire of Stoner Rock for bands like Kyuss, QOTSA, The Desert Sessions, Mark Lanegan Band, and even a song or two for The Cult and Foo Fighters. Live at the viper room:
Jindalee Jindalie featuring Scott Weiland of STP:
If you like that shit search for Live at The Viper Room, there's more gold there.

Good old Aussie Pub Cunt Rock, The Angels. Everyone knows of AC/DC, but the Angels were there too from the late 70's as the forefront of Aussie blues/pub rock. This is song is Aussie legend and features the best call and response section in the history of live music:
More Angels anthemic goodness:

One of the best songs ever... preaching to the choir here; but if you haven't heard this yet... then do yourself a favor.
