i was reading some of the somewhat entertaining schizo shit that sometimes gets posted in here, i have to wonder if i simply joined the doom community at the wrong time to tell someone to Ban conversation, and debate, and ban the fucking user-base. It's Easier! and frees up time To cope; seethe, and... or something. sure enough there was the grooming, the dr sleep with your wife shit (puts me to sleep honestly), yet it seems everything has peaked somewhat, some of the most schizo members left and there's mostly xeep dickposting, and cringe is simply the new norm so nothing to report, and all that's left is to somewhat contribute to the community in a positive manner. which is historically not where my main skillset lies, but i'll let it slide |

i don't see it as merit exactly, and we've definitely discussed more stuff than the terms of service, but anyway. there's probably some chain of misunderstanding here that i'm not even gonna try to untangle outside of what i've already said in those pms, truthfully i wasn't even bringing that shit up again since i can talk about stuff without using slurs just fine, would likely prove offensive all the same tho. maybe the fundamental misunderstanding is thinking i have any ego whatsoever, or intention to actually hurt people, or shit on this forum etc. which is fundamentally what i'm accused of and not all that calmly, it seems
really what are the "people" i've allegedly "hurt" so far though? people raiding these boards from their discords and someone shitting on your maps to gain credit with his butt buddies. might want to give me a fukin medal instead, you know i mean i understand all that stuff about triggering etc, might be true in some cases, it's pretty clear to me however -- particularly in this community -- some people just want everyone who displays any kind of wrongthink to shut up, no matter if it's in their forum or elsewhere, and if they can abuse a supposed minority status to do that all the better, so i'm pretty skeptical of any pretense of being offended in general. words on the screen can barely hurt any functional human being as far as i can tell, still i can only hope i've hurt this kind of people at least a little bit. it's one thing to pursue some life choices i find inherently dishonorable, but being a slimy fuck is universal, no need to hide behind their flags for that. i haven't tried to "hurt" anyone else, and i might be even sorry if i have, i know gay people who have also grown a spine however. and if following the forum rules was really the point then there was no need to accuse me of being in bad faith (or even to "chase clout" in your own forum, like i'm fuckin joe ilya or something). calling someone that to my knowledge isn't even gay the f-word barely even registers as homophobic anyway. maybe he's actually gay but that's not the point of the word as is generally used, so whatever. some soyjack somewhere is gonna pretend this is homophobic for sure, i have very little respect for that but i can follow the rules... if the rules were the actual point anyway

@wernergoldberg, you should start schizo-doom-mapping. It's unironically all the craze these days, everyone's doing it. You should submit yours to DBPs too. There should be a DBP where the only textures allowed are HoMs and all maps are vetoed unless they have 1000 revs and/or two shotting cybies while balancing on a bamboo stalk. We could finally gain some respect with the Doom clique that really counts. I heard they say our stuff is too ez. |
