Nah, that wasn’t it. It was clear from his post he wasn’t near any of the actual protest zones. He was just pissed that some people understood why the situation got as bad as it did, and said as much. By his own admission he was watching constant Steven Crowder and Tim Pool coverage, and all he really wanted to focus on was how Trump responded very well, and he even brought in some “race realist” stats. In other words, what happened is that he got himself worked up into a fervour watching propaganda all day, lol. Not that that excuses the shit he said at me anyway, but yeah, the whole thing was a big political screed. He wasn’t in harms way. Moral of the story is, this dipshit calling Arlene or Scuba Steve toxic is ironic as hell.

He wasn't in the protest zones so the protests won't affect him right? The selfish apathetic "it's not affecting me" individualistic stance only suits people who've completely given up on politics. We're talking about America which is quite literally ruled by fear that's hardcoded into some people more than others to the point where telling them this fact is talking to a brick wall. I had rioters destroying white neighborhoods in my country that are half a hours drive from me and I'd admit it made me scared as fuck.. though I have no outlet I'd really like to express this in because I don't think I can express in a comprehensible way without becoming a boring broken record player.

Wishing death on the person you're arguing with is everything that's part of the problem of politics so I'm really sorry he said that to you.. but I don't think what he said makes it any less toxic than the way vultures jump in to make an example of low hanging fruit or use said low hanging fruit to vent their frustrations and vilify them then play victim when that someone finally spergs out and says something that can't be justified or unsaid even if you took the context back in that it was a heated dogpile and how distressing it is to be on the receiving end of one. Having your posts getting picked apart from every possible perspective and archetype from the moderate, to the "impartial guy that only cares about honesty" that only seems to target you, to the mod that's been riling you up with ad hominens for weeks up till now to the "social democrats" that are much farther left than they'd have you believe to the one that hyper autistically picks apart each sentence by sentence and giving a word salad for each one in a rigged game of semantics that no functional human can possibly respond to without losing half their sanity.. I will say though that banning them during this form of online lynching is likely the kindest thing you can do even if it makes the person who bit off more than he could chew go seethe somewhere else.. it might even save him from going and using conservative legacy media as a source and become an idiot for the rest of his life.

Either way if anyone took a step back and looked; we've reached multiple layers of hypocrisy to the point where complaining about toxic behavior in this thread is hypocritical on my part so you can take my rant with a grain of salt if you'd like.

Well, since no one dogpiled Impie during the incident in question as the thread was locked pretty much right after his first post in it (I think only one person responded), since there was no "public e-lynching" going on (oddly appropriate terminology given the context though), and since no banning of any users came of it, I don't think that really applies to the situation in question. But if those things had happened, it probably would have applied, for sure.

People that complain about toxicity are usually SoaD haters or scrubs that still don't know how to properly navigate Blighttown - as casuls will always see the place as just an unpleasant sewer level where fps goes to die.. but chads know it's free real estate with plenty hentai material to please one's taste.

I'm talking about people that hold more radical beliefs that are harmful and the kind of social media alternatives that seem to attract these kinds of people that are obsessed with free speech.
