Also you still have /vr/. /vr/ anons typically can't stand drama-farming or shoehorned political opinions. KF might be more his speed. i've already talked about my feelangs about /vr/, and the farms somewhat, neither is to my speed exactly, though i'm sure some people in here are paranoid of infiltrations so to speak, otherwise they wouldn't act against specific users for comparatively minor infractions. but it's funny that i'm supposedly into what you're saying (more than the average user here anyway), when most of what i've written is some variation of a shitpost, and if anything i've only criticized people taking themselves 2 serious -- i guess you're welcome to disagree, but i've lurked 4chin for decades and know the subboard culture or what's left of it, i can pretend just fine. what little dewm discussion that goes on here is still more meaningful than your average /vr/ thread, though it was funny when jew ilya made them lose their shit last time i checked. it would be easy to pretend to be someone else in case i ever feel like cunntributing in any meaningful way and stick to dewm threads only, i could do the latter even now but honestly who cares about walking on eggshells all the time to avoid angering some undisclosed cabal of demon worshippers (since apparently avoiding le n f words isn't enough, even "discussing" stuff privately with 40 i'm considering a form of harassment by now, not to mention reading his posts publicly). even if i never got HELLed it's still not ideal for me, i'll probably keep lurking here like i sometimes lurk groomworld, it's fun to look like some hypocritical attention whore by deleting accounts en masse anyway, but you still shouldn't mention people only after they delete their accounts imo. i won't be putting my money on the darknation crew actually doing anything about this, but who knows, i'm rooting for him

What happened to the idea of dividing forum into blogs? This could solve the moderation problem (probably) and there would be no need to mute/banish users to Dumbworld. But anyway. It's in progress. Gotta iron out some details about how it will all work. |

While I don't mind what's been said about the way I go posting, I do find a little bit alarming the direction some people here consider a better fit to stir this place into. Afaik, verboten words can be dealt-with without need of further innovations but to carry-on plans of segregation (of some sorts), imho, ultimately means reducing those who inhabits this place into mere commodities.
Users who usually limit themselves exclusively onto common-ground topics like Doom-related convos, DW bashing-hour (e.g. the annual tradition of whining about being left-out the Oscars™) and/or our content-making gym(nastics) already surrenders quite a percentage of themselves into utter pragmatism - but 'what's wrong with that, exactly?' you may ask and it's not so much of 'what's wrong' but rather of such a way of participating (now) being propelled as the preferable or optimal route to take (or else!) which is counter-productive to the overall health of the forum's ecosystem.
After all, everyone's playing their part in offering something of their liking and to make such partakings less than it's by cementing harsh regulations and confine us into either the mapping-office (where you're basically an unpaid cubicle-worker addicted to group dynamics and feedback-loops) or a heavily gatekept safe-space (made-in-China, for whatever particulars you better favour) will only drag-in that staleness that's so frequently critized when it comes from our competition.
Bubbles are comfy to reside and easily to lambast when spotted in neighbouring territories but sometimes you can be rather unaware that you find yourself in-one if not helping to foment one. You know, there's only so much we can converse about doomin', music, tech or any other safe-and-sound subjects we'd most likely agree upon conducting with the rite of politeness before it gets really boring. In other words, this is not github and we need more than "less crazy-talk, more contributions" in order to entertain ourselves in this mutual escapism.
I don't actually think that my long-ass 2 cents here will make much difference in the end (given some already well-established precedents that inevitably led us into this moment) but I felt that uncanny itch to chime-in (anyways).
It's also worth noting that, despite any major divergence between our views; no other owner(s) of the manor 'round the Doom community proved-me more deserving of a fair deal of esteem like the two o' you guys (three, if we count Kontra as well), so even tho the authority over my online staying here is automatically given into your hands at the moment of registering, I'd gladly confer the same if needed permission (that's to say that I trust your final judgment in regards to the future of the schizoid race, whatever it may be).

This thread kinda ballooned after I posted and my pea-brain can't keep up, so I'll just post this here: It took a long time, but a couple months ago a dw mod finally changed my forum title from "born male" to "born troll". Funny how pronouns are ok but birth sex isn't. For such a small population that doesn't want to identify as their birth sex, it's shocking how far this gender agenda has come. Instead of that being their problem, for some reason it's become society's job to change the rules and everyone else's outlook on life just to encourage their dysphoria and provide them temporary relief. People are so consumed with compassion that they seem to forget how our species was designed and actually functions, and that the only reason any of us even exist, and why we've lasted for so many years, is because a male is driven to have sex with a female, which creates offspring. Meanwhile, the gender people will always be stuck in the perfect victim paradox where they expect society to accept them for how they want to be portrayed, yet they won't even accept themselves for how they were born. I got banned today for the first time in 20 years for this post: I really hope the mod that issued that ban has a wonderful day, and enjoys being with his loving wife and adoring family. lol I wonder how many of the mods have those things! |

Btw for sodomy month I changed the colors of my avatar to those of Super Straight, just to subvert all this rainbow bullshit.
