schizo-posting all over this thread The project reflects it's leader, it's a completely unhinged mess. Nothing about this seems focused or planned, it's just a pile of assets all fighting for attention. The awful repetitive pinging of the radar ringing between crowds of zombie/monster ear-rape, the complete drenching of the screen and map in red, the multiple weapons using the same weapon sprite, the ugly hud. It's all a fucking mess, Kontra. With you screeching at anyone who so much as casts a sideways glance at it really turns everyone off of the project, player and mapper. Nobody wants to help you because you are acting like a rabid maniac. Do you think your lashing out will convince anyone to want to work with you? Throw it out, start over, and fix your attitude. It's shit buddy. We told you so. I think that is just a shitty subjective view of the project. Frankly, I don't care what you think. Because ultimately, you will be a minority. Your post reflects the fact that you are a hater. they only didnt ban them so that at least some of the dbp maps cant destroy doomworld and so they cant say that the dbp scare them. but they deleted the kontra kommando post for no reason because they are stupid. and i think every thing that kontra kommando said about doomworld makes sense. WTF are you talking about, cuppy blows most of Doomworld's greatest maps out of the water with his DBP contributions, especially the Cyberpunk DBP that he conducted that got a cacoward, yet he's still not banned, don't you dare put cuppy down as if he's not a threat to Doomworld's mapping circle, each of his maps are more weaponized than this DBP0 maps combined. Doomworld deleted the DBP0 thread because it looked like a troll, not because they're scared of your fantasies, your ego knows no bounds, of course you'd agree with anything as long as it makes you look good. The only DBP mappers that are banned from Doomworld are me, 40oz, and you, and the rest aren't banned. |

Kontra Kommando's AND Xeep-Eep's, independently aside from one being a reply to the other.
I was about to unleash a load of pain to make the DW commies cry some more, but I think I'll hold off til further justification. Obviously too damn much nolife microhypermoderating is still going on there, but yeah it's like expecting an animal to not shit or piss or puke or dry-hump on something. I got shit lying around from before I wasn't even banned to piss them off and hilarious ideas since for when I feel like wasting the time on them.
The quick-glance presentation of this mod to people who haven't already played it could have been better. The combination of everything vs everything sounds crazy but it works.
EDIT: Just looked at Kontra Kommando's "Offending Posts." Nice burns on them there, heh. Obviously they couldn't take the heat they think they can dish out. Typical pathetic commies. Maybe I will have to make them cry some sooner. Obviously the great lord of sausage parties has failed to reign in the commie cucknt brigade of the staff.

This is a peculiarly weird sentence in one of the most peculiarly weird posts I've read on this forum in a while. Discord is one hell of a drug. Can i get a head count on how many people in any capacity think of mapping for DBP as a war against Doomworld? That maps are weapons? Is there considerable speculation that thats what this is being done for? I think its important to talk about this. |

When you have two separate groups doing the same thing, I don't think it's particularly weird for members of one or both groups to look at it like a competition/"war", especially the smaller group. I doubt that Joe meant that cuppy's maps are an actual threat to Doomworld as a whole (or that they are meant to be) in any way, I think he was just saying that his maps can compete with the best of Doomworld's maps, therefore winning the "war". It's also not uncommon for people to describe a piece of art as being weaponized, even if the art wasn't created for the purpose of attacking someone/something.
Besides, I don't personally think it matters much WHY people are creating good maps. If they want to do it to compete with the big guys, what difference does that make? As long as good maps are being produced, that's all that matters. The reason for their creation is personal and relative to each mapper.

i want to make maps until my maps are so extremely good that when i only upload them on doomerboards that no one will download doomworld wads any more and they will only download doomerboards maps. because they deleted kontra komnmandos wad on doomworld and it made me feel so bad , it was so sad and it made him feel bad and he was anbgry and i think that doomworld deserves it for doing this to himn.

I only said the maps are weaponized because that's what mayhemic said, if it would be true, cuppy would've won already because he got a cacoward despite some of the mod's attempts to stop it's threads from opening up on Doomworld.
