Version 1.0 has now been uploaded to moddb. I included the bar as the last level, and you have to defeat Jason Voorhees there to beat the game. I didn't implement 2.2 because I had done some stuff for it prior. Thus, development was bifurcated, so I stuck with the progress I made on 2.1. matador if you could check out v 1.0 when it is out, If there is an issue, let's make a hot fix. I added all of Gokuma's assets. Right now, we are on track for release, as soon as the file is authorized by moddb.

I'll check it out when it's out. The 2.2 changes were pretty minor, just adding co-op starts for the maps that didn't have them and fixing a missing texture in one of Mayhem's maps (map 6 I think) that shows when you get the blue key, iirc.

this is so extremely aweomse i think its the ebst doom dbp ever. and i think the maps i made and the maps tat the otehrs made for tbis dbp are very awesoimettii abnd ut woirks very wekk with theb new assets its so nice , i really like it and i tihnk its going to become the most famous mapset of the doom community and i think that it will be more famous than brutal doom and alien vbendetta and all the otehr mods like complex doom and stuff like that. and the soundtrack is really nicve i think it is really the best doom wad ever and it is as good as dbp auger zenith.

Here's my cold run of map 1, on the RC1.
There's a lot of bugs still, and with no tutorial, I have no idea what's going on. Apparently I didn't even have the right HUD. I don't know what the classes do, and it took my a while to figure out the weapons and alt fires etc.
Map 1 starts very hectic. A tutorial map would ba a really good idea, or at least introduce some of the mechanics more slowly. This is just overwhelming on all fronts.

its not overwhelming i was not overwhelmed by the mod too. i played my own map of it with all the assets and its really nice. you are not good enough at doom and you dont have enough ski.ls to play this , and if youre overwhelmed you should play on a easy dififculty.

and you also dindtp lay nay of the maps that i made or have rebalanced in this wad. so why do you say that it is so overhwelming and stuff , i have also made maps for it you did not even play them or play the maps that all the other mappers have mnade for it and you only even played 1 level in that video , i dont understand why you did that.

It's not the difficulty that is overwhelming.
It's the lack of tutorial, the abundance of new weapons and enemies thrown at you from all directions, and general assault on the senses.
Maybe you get used to it after an hour or so, but I'm describing the first experience of most players.

Maybe you get used to it after an hour or so, but I'm describing the first experience of most players. I made a note in the article that the optimal way to play would be to turn off the auto pickup, and primarily focus on using the melee attacks. Maybe I could make a note of it in the file.

Here's a replacement maps wad that fixes a ton of issues, but I haven't thoroughly tested with playthroughs. I didn't mess with the pk3 other than copying music and (z)mapinfo to the maps wad. Major edits to nmap11 Dead Man's Drink making it a proper end stage and did test that map more.
So run with the current pk3 and this new maps wad.
The issues are discussed in more detail on the development topic.
Doesn't have my custom drinks. Don't know if they were forgotten or decided against, so I didn't include them and the bar still has regular health bonuses. I guess there was no time for holographic dancers.
EDIT: reuploaded. Changed zmapinfo so maps use the better looking replacement sky1 rather than the worse looking sky0 version.

The readme :
hello this is the readme file of the dbp.
ok so this readme file ios about the
autoswitch of the eweapons of doom because
in the dbp you have to turn it off.
because all the enmies drop all the berserk
paclks all the time and if you pick
them up all the time then it switches
the weapons all the time and if you dont
turn it off its really annoying because
you were using a gun and suddenly it is
not a gun any more but it switches to the
fists asnd if you didnt want to do that
like when youre shooting at a cacodemon
with a gun then its extremely annoying and
you get pissed off really much and thats
why you have to disable the auto switch
of all the weapons. and you can find it
if you go in the player settings and you
disable auto switch when pick up , it is
in the settings of gzdoom ifd you use
gzdoom. its also in zdoom. and also you
have to use gzdoom to play this map because
it has all the custom enemiesand the udmf
maps so if you dojt use gzdoom it will not
even work and you will noit be able to
plkay all the maps. so please us that and
also remember to turn off the audo switch
because it is really extremely important
because of all teh bersers you piock up
in the map because there is so many
berserk packs that it would be making you
rage extemely hard id oyu didnt so i
really recomnmend to turn it off. i mean
you can try it to turn it on maybe as a
challenge but the map was not play tested
for that so if you try that and itdoesnt
work its not my fault bdecause i told you
that its not iuntended to work with the
audoswitch turned on. so if you dont
turn it off youll be pissed and i warned
you so if you get angry and mad just
turn it off okay. ok this was all the
important things and you can play the
mapset now and thanks for reading and if
you enjoyed reading it it was written by
mayhemicdestrvctor i am a very famous
mapper for doom2 and doom1 and i also
made maps in this dbp , i rebalanced
the first hell map that someone else has
made and i made 2 hell maps for this
episode and if oyu enjoy them , my name

Nice effort but I found a few typos. Maybe you'd be able to see the keyboard better if you'd take your helmet off for a few minutes. Just remember to put it back on when you're finished.
