Well maybe about how talented he is with guitar playing I might receive something in the mail by him next week or less who knows but favorite songs by him so far Little Miss trouble (perfect song for a beginning of the album or band) Riviera blues (freaking beautiful one) Red house (mostly just that epic guitar solo and he is badass in this song too)

this is stevie ray vaughan right i recognize some songs It might be covers of songs by those 2 guys Jimmy Hendrix and Stevie ray not sure if r.c. Yetter was a guy who made original music or covers but he would have been pouplar as those guys if he made more albums only a few people have guitar trouble and very few people have live at the peppermint lounge I remember seeing a Google image of the CD I ordered from Amazon if I recall it was a different case but where did that other CD case came from I'm not sure if it is the right case or not someone might let me know.

Why would you listen to this nostalgia bait instead of Hybrid Theory in 2000?

Why would you listen to this nostalgia bait instead of Hybrid Theory in 2000? Who in their right mind would waste any time with Linkin Park when the Vengaboys was around?

Would you believe me if i say that i've never saw their music video until today? lol
I've just remember this "classic" 'cause of your mention to LP - i had this neighbour back then that would play Linkin Park, Offspring, Red Hot Chili Peppers and whatever that was trending on MTV along with this sort of eurotrash in full volume on every godamn weekend.

Yetter and Riviera Paradise if you want more songs with vocals, but the first track in album 3 is kinda boring but track 2 has vocals but i'm warning you don't listen to red house on album 3 if you have not listened to "red house Live" its waaaay better, Don't be like me where i listen to a song and i don't like it give things a chance, just telling good advice thats all.

Matroxx (Kinotsu) I've just finished listen to the 'Guitar Trouble' video. First off, thank you for sharing this quite obscure figure. He's indeed a very talented guitar player and if it wasn't for other people like you shining a light upon these works, they would probably be forgotten. Well, did i enjoyed the album? Kinda. The first obstacle i've found is the sound quality. You've mentioned getting the album in mp3 format and i assume you've uploaded these very mp3 files to YT, correct? That explain why the volume is so low, i had to crank my end to max in order to properly listen. But it's what we have available for now, don't we? I'm not gonna bring the production/mastering into account because the sound quality is obviously lossy and even tho the mixing seems to be very muffled, it's more than audible. The second obstacle is the running time; ~60 minutes for run-of-the-mill bluesy songs is a tough listen today for most people (let alone in the 2000s). The album would really benefit if it was less than 40 minutes of total running time and if it had a more fine tuned track order (so the more similar-sounding tracks would be more space out from each other). The third is the songwriting which imo is average at best, it has it's moments but don't offer nothing fresh. I'm not saying that this is a bad thing on it's own (i'm gonna go back to this later). So the main attraction of the album is the guitar noodling skills that mr. Yetter vigorously showcases along with his pals providing a solid base for him to go bananas. Now, the thing with this kind of approach is that it's basically delutes the music into a show off performance. I'm a guitar player as well, so i appreciate and recognize Yetter's impressive skills but the over reliance on the same noodling routine gets old. This kind of skill display only reaches its full potential of entertainment when witnessed live. And to be fair, this seems to be the kind of material the band would give to venues in order to book gigs. We don't know much about the background story of his releases but for me it this album feels like i'm watching a pub performance. Which is fine and entertaining in its context, but for a studio album it doesn't offer much for multiple listenings. If the songs had at least a little more variation on the rhythm department, the "noodling fatigue" would have been minimized. For me, blues rock is at it's finest when the performance manages to hit you right into the gut of your soul. And you don't need that much to work with in order to accomplish that, even a more simplistic songwriting approach can be good enough. Take Jail Bait by Wishbone Ash (linked below) for example. Notice the simplicity and yet the skillful efficiency they accomplish - their punchy deliverance and sharp guitar licks without resorting into a masterclass-level showcasing. To conclude, i found the album to be a worthwhile listen nonetheless and i would like to give Guitar Trouble a second spin in the future. So mr. haraharakiri321 if you ever get your hands on the CD version (or a better quality rip) please do share it with the internet and make sure to put some timestamps on your videos silly (favorite track: Fool for You)

@pintolinh0 unfortunately I don't have the actual CD but I recently gotten the case of guitar trouble Also have you listened to album 3 it's not as great as guitar trouble but it sure kicks ass thanks for the long message it really makes me feel good like I did something in my life I will follow you for future post from you
If you like r.c. Yetter I wouldn't mind having live at the peppermint lounge but as I said many times here in this thread it's super rare and hard to find I was lucky enough to be interested in such local bands to begin with goodwill store around here is freaking sweet with CDs but it seems that most of the good ones don't have their own disc I found a doughty CD their first album it had no disc nor most others I was interested in but when I'm feeling lucky I hope I will get live at peppermint lounge CD someday I think I posted pictures of the actual live at peppermint lounge case In the first post.
