Like this post if you would like to use the AUGER;ZENITH (DBP37/A;Z) resources (will need some new graphics, particularly new ad screens) to make some deathmatch maps. If you want to make your own ads I can tell you how I made mine. Mayhaps I shall shill for Odamex. This will be hosted on Doomer Boards because it's the most cyberpunk Doom forum, and Doom Universe as well.
TL;DR: This thread is to gauge interest in making Deathmatch maps as there have been a few who asked if AUGER;ZENITH had deathmatch. Some people want to play it but I want to know if people actually want to help make it. It's an interesting prospect that I have brainstormed some ideas for. I haven't made a map for deathmatch since Skulltag was a thing and experimental gimmicky maps are welcome as long as they're not pure pain to play, which means you should have a good grasp on what you're doing in the first place before you starting messing with things. Know the rules before you break them, you feel me? Yeah, but not like I know them all either regarding deathmatch.

Wait for me to set the standards by sharing DM maps of my own showcasing what it is I am looking for once I have the prompt more solidified and all official-being. There will be new resources both added and replaced.

Besides creating fun arenas for Deathmatch (study a little and ask around on what the best DM maps are people enjoy, play and visualize the flow of combat in PvP) I aim to make this DM mapset one that aims higher with visual storytelling and world building. Ask yourself what place in the world does your map take place in, and have a cyberpunk concept to build atmosphere in, so your map has food for thought and ultimately more to enjoy besides an arena. You're also free to just make a DM version of a map from the "base game.". Background environments make the world feel much larger! Like all those background cityscapes we had.
Being that this is AUGER;ZENITH DM I also expect the use of destructible and interactive environments. Remember to keep the gameplay first and keep details unobtrusive. These will aid in the underlying goal of having these DM maps possess a good atmosphere and be "comfy" to explore all on your own. So people that don't even play Deathmatch will be interested in taking a dive to explore the "comfy" vignettes built in the Doomy cyberpunk world they adore. Going above and beyond the call of duty with those goals. You will also be free to explore "risky" concepts for DM maps, a little gimmicky or different than your standard high-quality modern DM map. Being experimental is something I approve of, just make sure that at least 50% of players like it. Hit-or-miss is all right by me! Only do that if you know what you want to do and how to do it.
Deathmatch means no monsters. That means we can use the monster slots for a plethora of extra ambient audio cues and other fun things we can do. We could also even try having background roaming NPCs that "run away" or are just visible in the background. Maybe real-time speedy flying car background entities as well. I'm sure we can make clear an exception to leave monsters on if people default to turn them off for this.
Even with all this, remember that the top priority is to make fun DM maps! Focus first on creating your layout for gameplay! Be creative and I trust you to know what to do!

If you have any requests for assets let me know. You don't have to right now though as things can be updated as it progresses but if you want something special I can see if I can accommodate.
The top ideas I have for DM maps are a skatepark and a not-Amazon warehouse. Also 40oz I'll need a tutorial for the double-sided breakable glass you were able to do that also broke when running into it because I never figured that out!
