Hooray! Loving the credit map. Quick suggestion: adjust the text a bit so that it can still be seen properly from up close (instead of this).

Yay! Will be even better once you put the original music back in my map. Are you going to rename this 11 Day Vacation after Naza submits his map? Yay! Resort to Violence is a top vacation map name. Yay!

It would be up there, but I reckon DBP11 has got it covered in the credit map alone. This DBP definitely has the most cars and buses of any DBP though.

Gotta say, this wad is definitely feel-good vibes when I play it the whole way through. But the most feel good thing so far is how the development cycle on this one had me believing joe was going to be a real villain here and he completely played me by pulling through and putting together a banging RC2 You're a good dude joe-ilya !! dont ever scare me like that again ahaha

Eeyup, this DBP is good and I've played most of it myself already. Not interested in (unnecessarily) looking for errors this time but I'll give my blessings to the new MAP02. The INTERPIC for me shows missing graphics on GZDoom save for the map preview and if this was intentional then that was pretty cool.

If you guys haven't seen miss_slaughter's stream, definitely check it out her video. I knew this project was going to be pretty good, but it exceeded my expectations! She's one of the more casual players I've been trying to get our projects to appeal to. She dies and save scums a good bit but she was clearly having a lot of fun the whole way through and there's a lot of fun reactions throughout. Twitch chat was almost totally positive as well. Everyone involved did an awesome job, thanks to the testers like @vigilantdoomer and @memfis, and of course the mappers who
She played MAP01-MAP05 and will be playing MAP06-MAP10 next wednesday.

Yeah the stream was a blast, highly recommended. Tbh I might have recommended her playing on HMP--assuming all maps have difficulty settings now?--but she's still having a good time with lots of deaths and saves.

This was faster than the usual but it still gave a nice experience to play. After laying the finished product I'm not sure if there was a point for the turrets here, they were barely used and they are sort of redundant with the chaingun spider (I think I made the same comment on DBP10, yes I did) and since they fit better for the theme the imps and seagulls were the most used custom monsters. For the future Joe I think it should be worth to go for a "less is better" and work with things that are more related to the theme. Now on to the maps:
MAP01: The part inside the hotel was cool, usually I'm not so fond of punching but the boxing match was top notch. I would only reduce the pinkies of the audiende, or mix with other low tiers since punching 20 pinkies gets boring. Not sure about the exit area, is just a flat barren wasteland but maybe that's the point of Doomguy going away from the scorched earth to the more colorful vacation places.
MAP02: I can see the brisk style of Cuppy into this :3 and the usage of the seagulls was very fun. It makes sense that it's a collage of maps, there are some areas that really feel unconnected and without a purpose but at least they added some exploration to do. There's something wrong with a water sector at the exit, I got some homs.
MAP03: Cool theme, I liked the setting in the islands, the little "fort" and the crashed plane. The arachnotron are very nasty since you can't hit them from the starting point.
MAP04: Nice idea to give secret keys so you can make some shortcuts even if I noticed them too late. Very good overall, that baron can be very troublesome I guess.
MAP05: I liked this one, very oldschool. Gameplay wasn't remarkable, it's an inoffensive clean-up of rooms and corridors but for me the interesting progression and the fact that the map is very interactive with lots of passages and secrets makes up for it a bit. Visually it can be better, lots of monotextured areas and I'm not fond so much of the all brown visual that look bland overall. Not to say that it can't work but it's an aesthetic that's hard to make in an interesting way. The archvile was a very cheap move. MAP06: Good looking and with tough but fun encounters. Similar experience that I had in your map in 2048/vr/.
MAP07: Also this one was interesting. The theme was pretty nice even if I didn't feel so much the vacation. I think that MAP05 was better and some of the same problems are also here. Bland areas that are bland, like the brick corridor after the lava that looks like it was made just to fill space. I think that potentially everything can work, even this kind of layout of spaghetti corridors leading to the big areas and going for an adventures is the right idea but it doesn't work here because the place is very generic, generic caves, generic ruins. Imo it's a kind of map that's harder to make compared to a good average map and I guess that the limited time and the inexperience didn't help either. You are an interesting mapper Zillah I hope you stick for more of these projects or even go to try some solo releases.
MAP08: Nice enough at the start but I lose interest when I reached that northern flat area where the predictable big fight would happen. lol I totally missed the plasmagun
MAP09: Sorry Glen I had my mind somewhere else so that's why I fucked and died that way up but the map is impressive and you can feel the love and the fun oozing from the place. Cleaning the streets was more tricky than expected given the limited cover and it isn't immediate to understand where the shoots are coming from, it requires patience.
MAP10: I like to think that even Doom has had enough of Joe that the game refuses to display him correctly so you see that unidentifiable pink blob

Very fun wad, thanks for the great work! I've made UMAPINFO file for this wad. Tested it with prboom-plus-2.5.1.7um and gzdoom 4.4.2. Doom Retro should work too, but it has some bugs with this wad right now.
