I've been listening to a few of these, and it is fun hear the voice of people you've seen post for years. The former ID employees had interesting episodes, not to mention Dario Casali's, and I found myself agreeing to a lot of what was said when you interviewed Darknation.
I'm also a bit curious as to how you got the idea of starting the show. Have you done anything similar earlier? You seem to be a talkative fellow.

There's an official Doom Radio that's hosted by Alfonzo and Tarnsman. When it was new I tried to get involved with it but they really liked the set up they had already and preferred that I do my own thing instead, so I did! I listen to some other podcasts like Drunken Peasants, Your Mom's House, Waking up with Sam Harris, and Joe Rogan Experience. I really like the formatting of the last one in particular so I've been trying to keep it mostly like that. I don't really have any prior experience with this kind of stuff, I just love talking to other Doomers about Doom. |

Just listened a bit to S5E8, and I wholeheartedly agree - the "speed bikers" are assholes. They have no concept of traffic rules or repect for others and are prone to bike in the middle of the road in an attempt to be as annoying as possible. In my country, there´s usually no reason to do that, since bike paths are plentiful. The only good thing about them is that they are easy to spot as they all dress alike.

Meh, the art of cunt is something that cannot be taught via curriculum. One has to hear it in their being, feel it in their bones and use it from the pit of their gut.
But I would be up for discussing the digestion cycle of a beef vindaloo.

I'm not very connected with other Doomers outside of Doomworld. I don't have a very big twitter/facebook/discord presence so most of the time I don't even know how to reach out to the people I'd like to talk to.
When Kurt Kesler returned to doomworld to say hi, I sent him a message right away to ask him onto the show, i got a message back saying his schedule is a little hectic these days but he could probably make it work. However, this was during some dumb inter-forum politics that resulted in me getting banned before I could exchange contact info.
Part of my interest in keeping the show is having a wide variety of guests but too many people are too interested in building a wall between me and the rest of the doom community. The only way I could feasibly keep this going is to talk to the same 6 or 7 people over and over. No disrespect to those people but it makes me really sad.

Dang, that sucks - I can see how that would be awkward. It'd be great to be able to hear from Kurt Kesler though if there was some way to make it work.
