Pez the mancubi cages should have impassable flags set, cuz walking thru grates is weird. The other stuff like railings are low, and walking thru them is ok and imho is a nice feature.

Oops, in the post I forgot to say that it was one of my first maps, and I didn't know about the existence of the impassable flag, and I see the bars on the mancubus part as perfect to fix. (I'm glad you liked the railing thing )

An early mapper just learning. Nice. Always enjoy playing these maps. Here's some feedback off the top of my head. The outside walls of the map felt very samey and flat. You can look at other maps to get some ideas how to make things look a little nicer or more natural. The last couple DBPs have some good examples of outdoor areas you can look at for that. The slime falls part for example would look a lot nicer with some height variation and a few more sectors. Speaking of, it's a soft lock to fall in there. Inescapable pits are generally frowned on. It's usually good to put in a way for the player to get out like teleporters or lifts. The second pit by the exit you could put up a little fence and make impassable so the player can't fall in. The pinkies in the box area felt a bit weird. One idea would be cutting that box there to leave the space open, which I think would look nicer. Then setting up a teleport closet with the pinkies to teleport in instead. If you need help with something like that feel free to ask. The brick square by the manc cage also looks a bit out of place. Something about big plain squares sitting in the middle of things I guess. Having the RL behind the mancs isn't ideal imo. They can be killed easy enough with the ssg so it's not really worth the risk of getting hit to try and grab it that late in the map. Having it in the lowered area with the imps and manc would be a pretty good spot for it for the player to get some use out of it I think. Just some ideas. Hope you find that helpful. You have some of the fundamentals down so good luck with your future mapping.
