Managed to squeeze in two shows in the early part of 2020. Then had a further three cancelled. If this shit isn't over by the time summer festival season rolls around, someone lock me up before I engage in a killing spree.

Concerts were when I was able to see my friends that have all scattered to the winds, with their own lives. I am glad shit is reopening again, so we can meet up to go to metal shows again.

Never been to one before. What was it like for any of you guys? Hopefully you get to go to one sometime when things start opening back up. It's hard to describe what they're like other than fun, the vibe varies a lot depending on what type of music and what type of venue they're at. Personally, I like smaller and more intimate concerts where there's only like twenty or thirty people max and you've got a clear view of the stage but big arena stuff can be fun too if there's a lot of spectacle (and that's the only way you can really see big bands). Never been to any big festival type concerts, hoping to do so later this year. I lucked out and went all out on seeing concerts in 2018/2019 so I'm not missing it as much as a lot of other people.

There's a kind of an 'energy' you get from being around live music, especially with the right people. I'd liken it to going to see your favorite sports team win. That energy of being with a crowd of excited people who are all there for the same reason really fills the venue. It's different than sports though because the music can really move you and there's no competition associated with it like sports does, so you leave feeling pretty rejuvenated.

Been a couple years since I've seen a somewhat large scale concert, but last year and this year I've seen plenty of bands outdoors and at least one inside. Step 1 if relevant: Get out of any city. Step 2: Look up Breweries, Wineries, and some bars out in the country. Step 3: See bands playing.
