Looks like you just pressed "Random File" On IDgames and downloaded this wad.
Hints are urgent in this case, I don't remember this skybox at all, but it looks like a UDOOM map, based on that bloodied rock texture.

Since there's a bit more participation since this first started (and memfis is keeping everyone off the score board,) I'd like to make a suggestion for a rule change.
1.) If you guess the map correctly at all during the time frame, you score one point
2.) If you are first, you score the 1 point times the amount of people who guessed correctly during that round.
ex. if you 4 people guessed correctly, the first person to guess correctly gets four points, everyone else gets 1.
What do you think? 8-)

Idk about this rule, I was thinking that maybe the score could be reset periodically (for example every 25 rounds).

I feel like being faster or slower than others shouldn't affect the scores at all. If you guess correctly you should get just as many points as all other winners. The current system and even the one you're proposing seems unfair due to different timezones, people being busy with other things, and stuff. And it also kinda encourages unhealthy internet use, like "I better check the forum every 30 minutes today so that I don't miss my chance!" (no, I don't do that intentionally, but I can imagine me or someone else doing it, and maybe it still affects me unconsciously).

Maybe there can be up to three correct guesses per screenshot, and everyone gets the same amount of points.
First person to ten points gets 100 40oz funbucks!

i like 1 pts for first answer; 0.5 pts for late answer. I like the idea of letting late people get some form of points though.

There have been some threads here in the past about compulsive internet use so its probably best not to make a thing of it. Guess the wad correctly at any time during the round and you score a point too, it doesnt matter if youre first or last. Is everyone else on board with that? Also would you guys like me to retroactively give everyone the points they would have earned? Or half the points? |
