Honestly I just realised that I kinda suck at treating myself. I have gotten into a state where buying anything that costs over 3-4€ makes me doubt intensely over whether that stuff is really necessary, let alone treating myself like that.
And tbh I don't even want anything, nor have I for the last few years. Like there's literally not one material thing that I desire right now. Maybe a new jacket would be neat, since I threw a tantrum before leaving home and didn't take mine with me (yeah I'm a kid). I really only want food nowadays. Literally the only way I "treat" myself is food, sometimes clothes, and even that's mostly when I'm home, since my dad stuffs me with cash for some reason when I am.


Also uni starts on Monday, I've been through this stuff so many times, yet I still get super anxious. I went to an "orientation days" event that my uni had organised that was not mandatory, and I've been shown the uni buildings and the canteen and everything, met a few girls from my program (surprise: girls make up like 70% of the folk on science programs) and kinda didn't really hit it off with anyone yet. I might legit be the only foreigner in my faculty who studies in Czech, so I really stand out with my accent and all. Czech people are weird, see also: dew xd. Probably the most boring nation I've ever dealt with. So so goddamn boring, I cannot believe this. I haven't really ever dealt with another nation on the scale of living among them, so my opinion might not be objective though. So yea thank you dad, very cool, now I'm stuck in here for 3 years
Pro tip: if you end up having kids (doubtful considering we all on doomer boards), don't make big decisions for them especially if they vocally oppose them (smaller ones, on the other hand, can be ok)

I have no idea how can I verbalise that, man.
First of all they're mostly ugly as fuck. The guys are 75% ugly as sin and 25% literal gods on earth, while girls are 10% ugly as sin, 10% goddesses and 80% average-looking. I never realised just how beautiful us Serbs are. Or other people in general.

Second, their language is kinda quirky af. Now I got a bit used to its sound, but before that it sounded like the most hilarious and ugly language I've ever heard. I can't believe people actually speak that way and don't find it weird at all. It's kinda "soft" in the way Russian is, but 2x as much. They don't even say letters such as Ж/Ш the way we do, but more like english zh/sh. They also have a lot of long vowels. You can have 3 long vowels one after another. You really hear how hilarious all that is when you listen to their music. I can barely take their music seriously. A parody of a Slavic language literally

Third, they are really really frivolous. In the sense that they all start smoking weed (partly legal too) and having sex and shit very early, and aren't ashamed of that stuff really. They cheat on each other in relationships very frequently, I've heard love triangle stories that I couldn't imagine they existed in real life. Also the smell of weed is everywhere. In Prague especially, but also in smaller cities. I didn't even know how weed smelled until I got here. All of that comes across as kinda... shallow I guess. I don't know. Surprisingly though, they don't really drink too much except beer. Maybe I'm just too stuck up. Yeah, also there's a lot of openly gay people here, stuff like gay bars and all that; there is plenty of national diversity (czech/slovak, vietnamese, ex-ussr etc, even black people) which is all also very unfamiliar to me.

Fourth, despite the diversity I mentioned earlier, they don't actually seem to like foreigners much, especially the ex-ussr crowd.

I don't know, all in all most younger people here feel like the typical american instagram starbucks airpods basic dudes and girls. I mean there's got to be someone normal out here, but so far I'm barely finding any.
The older generation (say 40+), on the other hand, are very much like the people back home. Quite friendly and not that cucked I guess.

Honestly I really don't like it here. Literally the most MEH country there is, Czech fucking Republic. While I was on a preparatory course for learning czech during last year, I was mostly around ex ussr people who are cool, I didn't really talk to Czechs much, unlike now. Now idk what to do. I would move literally anywhere else, and that includes going back home.
