Do you play enough Doom?

I've been mapping as of late, but I like to take breaks once in a while and play something over ZDaemon if there are any interesting servers that are active at the time. Mostly though I get absorbed in the mapping process so while I could play more Doom maps in that time I usually like to press on when I'm in a creative mood. Currently playing The Beginning of The End Part II and Unholy Realms. Need to continue the Odessa series and I'm hoping to play Bad Religion, The Shores of Russia, Valiant (yeah, I've only played a number of maps over ZDaemon), some Doomkid wads and a number of other things. I'd also like to return one day to stuff like Doom II Unleashed, Doom II Reloaded, Eternal Doom (hoping to do a casual playthrough of this one like in the old days), Cleimos 2 and a lot of stuff out there. There's just too much to keep up with and only one of me, but I'm not likely to get bored anytime soon.

Oh yeah, wad DM wad should we play? Dwango, Exec, Greenwar, etc? My vote is always Dwango but if you guys have any preferences just tell me, the ZD deathmatch cluster is quite large, no shortage of choices

Damn. I am happy to use Zandronum as long as it works for everyone, I've got plenty of servers there too

EDIT: For anyone used to ZD worried about using Zand, don't be. The port honestly feels nice and Doomy once you fiddle with your settings a bit and the only mods I run add optional announcers and whatnot.

I know I skipped out early but it was a blast! Total and utter chaos, I loved it! I'm going to jump back on in about 3 hours from the time of this post if people are still up for it.

I had a great time as well. Took some screens I'll post in a bit. I'll break for new but if anyone else is up in a while I'll be down for more!

I had an awesome time. I wasn't even planning on coming, i just happened to be in the area.

For those of you shy about multiplayer, we played on DWANGO which has some pretty ridiculous maps. Even if you're not any good, there's enough narrow hallways and tight spots where you can snag from easy frags without being any good. It's a very user friendly mapset and there was nothing competitve or intimidating about it. It was just some reckless mayhem and funny conversations. If you can make the time, try to show up, even if only to idle and chat with us. Just being near this goofy murderfest will certainly tempt you to join in, and its very rejuvenating afterwards.

Doomkid, you should make a separate thread anytime you feel like arranging a game.
