I think the aesthetic looks better too.
I played a lot of Skyrim, and after a while I really started to notice how ugly and goofy looking the aesthetic was.
I think the pseudo-Viking look is kind of ugly and overrated. I like the way this looks which is more like medieval England or continental Europe, I'd say.
