I think any self-respecting progressive who belongs to the party of "I fucking love science" and claims to be the party of science on issues like climate change, cannot cherry pick what academic journals show. It is a fact that the data shows a drop in testosterone, albeit for currently unexplained reasons. If there's a correlation with the rise of transgenderism, and decrease of testosterone, I think it is as good a theory as any. I can't say for certain that they are connected, but it is tempting to draw conclusions based on that. This unexplained reason may be affecting these young people in ways that have not affected the rest of us.

I for one actually have TOO much testosterone, according to doctors. I know because I used to struggle with acne when I was younger, and that was their explanation. Gross I know.

That's what motivated the fact-checkers to assert it was  only  20-25%.

I have the highest testosterone level in the recorded history of medicine. Doctors and scientists have come from all around the world just to see the results of my analyses with their own eyes. They couldn't believe it and there is still no sound explanation for my phenomenon. I am widely considered a medical miracle in that regard.
