Name's Clea. I like to make 3D models using just math (not into point-and-click modeling). Feels kinda like the difference between using PhotoShop and ImageMagick.
I lost a lot of files recently so there's nothing to show as far as models.
I studied painting, but I shouldn't have changed my major from mathematics.
Open to any and all collaboration.
Can't wait to meet everyone.
Current projects: Stop hating Python again (I've been using it for 12+ years and kinda bored... should I just learn Swift?) 3D function grapher in OCaml or Swift (haven't really started... I'd actually like to write it in APL.) Learn quantum computing (Q# is neat) Make a sweet Doom mod (been on the back-burner for a while)

cleaHi! Join in this months DBP! There's still time. Also, you mentioned mathematically generating 3D shapes; do you mean stuff like Conway Polyhedron Notation?

Thank you people (Any bots? We are Cybog. Call me e-mail.) for welcoming me here. Any musicians? Thread could start a band? I'm also trying to use the same calc to make soundwaves. Here's an .obj made with some secants, some cosines, some square roots of eleven and square roots of two.
Like let's not thing about ring-pass filters anymore or whatever those things are called. Complex analysis is a 24th-century art form best expressed by the musical track ΔMi−1 = −αΣn=1NDi by Aphex Twin. Once this is fully realized, MIDI will be DOOMED, pun fully intended.
The math is just calc; I actually corresponded with Conway as a kid, some of my friends knew him personally. Those symbols are more like a dictionary/encyclopedia of regular shapes iirc. He was lit. As in Colorado prop. 64 -- very "cool" mathematician. I also like those. Er does it matter how cool you are rly. Thoughts on cool-scientists versus non-cool-ones? Is any science truly cool besides music?
Anyway to you people who responded ILY and I'm sorry if I don't post on here very often because I have BPD and it makes it hard to work on projects at-a-time.
So I lost all of my files recently because of some Cybog alienwarre completely built-to-spill self-breaking computer.
I woke up my mind today writing this and that in itself is a good excuse to make something fresh for y'all.
With my workflow I'm trying to adapt to using JAX because for the cal side of what I'm doing; it's a really boss calculator; calculus and complex analysis really are one.
Anybody like, really remember IRC? I *saw* a license plate that said RFC 2190 the other day. Isobel jokes. But why do Trekkies call her Danzek?

I do feel welcome. Cheers all.
Just started reading Riemann's paper called On The Representability of a Function By Means of a Trigonometric Series, from the lovely anthology God Created the Integers by Stephen Hawking.
Ever want to talk trig, just ask me anything. I studied go for a long time -- the eastern gentle minion's art form. But trig is the western one!

I like trigonometry but I'm no good at it. I just like shapes, platonic solids are my favourite right now. I can't decide which one but I think the octahedron is winning out.
