I've been playing Realm of The Mad God on and off for like a decade, so around when the game was new. I got back into it a few weeks ago and no-life grinded hard for an event I've missed out most of the time for. I reached my goal and continued playing until I FREAKIN' DIED. Everything was fine and then it wasn't. I was upset so I quit but was held by the tethers of daily quests and log-in calenders. I have played more since. Remind me when it's July and August because that's the best time to play this game due to big yearly events :y

There were quite a few games in the DOS era that you couldn't quit without rebooting the machine. And all early console games were like that. Daily quests... that reminds me of the period I spent being addicted to Angry Birds 2. Luckily that period is over.

I haven't interacted with this game beyond logging in every day for about 2 whole months. I'll play for real later...
