You can read the drama thread here: www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/122651-chaos-at-mcdonalds/?page=2TLDR, he got in trouble at Doomworld for what he posted here and I think he regrets his actions. He brought up ScubaSteve's posts here on Doomworld and got in trouble for it. Then, dew did the same thing to him and he didn't get in trouble. I think he was right to point out the double standard, there's clearly different castes of users at DW and those not in the upper echelons who don't understand the way things work are clearly nervous about saying the wrong thing and getting banned. Yeah, he should voice his issues with people to their face but with DW moderation being the way it is, he was probably worried about getting cancelled so I understand coming over here to complain about things. I think the guy basically got gaslight into thinking he was entirely in the wrong when it's not that clear cut. |

I always thought dew was just-another member of the coolclub, I didn't see what made him stand out from the rest, but that thread showed me why he did.

He made the wrong choice. He should have run his DW account into the ground instead.
But anyway, he seemed a bit of a weathercock. A bit concerned his mental health might break down from the conformity pressure on DW. Perhaps swapping mushrooms for some quality antidepressants might help.
