When I talked with Dario Casali about Plutonia in WXR I was surprised to hear that Predator was a source of inspiration for them while they were making it. I get it now.

The Casali's drawing influence from Predator and the fact id drew influence from Aliens really makes sense looking back to my childhood now. Some of my favorite things growing up. |

Yesterday I built a zdoom texture pack which requires loading plutonia, heretic and doom. It includes all textures from these games and patchtex by gothic.
The next thing to do will be mixing doom and heretic monsters in a gzdb config and mapinfo. Also translating their colors to doom via decorate

Today I'm at applying color translation to every heretic actor, and gonna merge SNDINFOs Then gonna make a custom gzdb config, and from that point I'll be able to mix worlds. My mod currently weighs ~60 KBs compressed |

I saw the "What is a woman" documentary a few days ago. Considering that it's praised by American conservatives, I didn't think I'd enjoy it too much given that my IQ is above 50, but to my surprise it was very well made, quite objective. I'm not gonna go into too much detail but the "host" asks several reputable people from the whole """"""woke"""""" side of things (a surgeon, a doctor, a gender studies professor, a Congress member, etc) the titular question and none of them can provide a proper answer, and in fact most of them get very agitated when they realise their incompetence. It's entertaining and kind of enlightening as to how the """woke""" ideology cannot withstand the most basic examination. This is a stone cold take on this forum but I believe something is deeply and terribly wrong in the US/Western society as a whole, and this movie illustrates that pretty well IMO. And people say that there isn't a God. Anyway yeah, pretty solid documentary 8/10 I bet 2€ that tainted slav will reply to this comment. |

Long-ass time since I've been on here. I didn't know where else to post this but I just wanted to check in and see how everyone's doin. At some point in the coming year I might make a return to mapping, this year was one of the craziest in my life so my priorities sort of shifted at lightspeed. Kicked a horrible addiction (283 days free), witnessed my family nearly torn apart, moved away from home, got a better job, did hunter s. thompson amounts of psychedelics, started forming a band, and found a beautiful woman I enjoy spending time with.
All I want to say is that I want to spread this positivity to you guys, and that if any of you are struggling with anything just know that it will pass. You are basically capable of anything you put your mind to. I wish you all the best!

P.S Joe Rogan was NOT kidding about DMT.
