Donated blood plasma for the first time

Doesn't feel too bad (and that's my underweight ass speaking), almost 30€ per donation and even got free condoms for whatever reason, maybe the nurse wants to smash idk.

The downside is that you have to drink a shitload of water the day before and also avoid a looot of food, such as fatty stuff and things like that.

But yeah other than that it's pretty dope, I definitely recommend it so far.

Well they do need to provide some sort of incentive right? Like helping people out is dope and all, but I'd prefer to not give a liter of my blood plasma for free.

The first time you donate, they don't actually give your plasma to anyone but rather run tests on it, probably to avoid that sort of thing. That's why I didn't get the full 30 € this time but I'll get the rest next time once I'm confirmed to be ok.

They also make you fill out a questionnaire asking if you have any conditions that make you unsuitable. An interesting one for example is that you're considered unsuitable if you spent over a year in the UK between 1980-96 due to the risk of carrying Creutfeld-Jacobson disease, aka mad cow disease. Also if you ever fucked a hooker then you're banned from donating for a year. Etc.

I mean yeah anyone can lie, but I live in a moderately western country atm so people are less like that here.

After many failed attempts I have finally been productive every single day of the last month which has also lead me to being more productive last month than I have all year. Now I just have to keep it up while stepping it up and contend with No Nut November. I don't know what you guys have done for Spooky Month but I watched Ash VS Evil Dead and a Detective Conan TV anime special. Didn't play any good Halloween games this time around though.

EDIT: Maybe Josh thought this place was kind of cringe and henceforth left, deciding to never even look at the cringe collective abstract frustration that boomers who still play a 25+ year old game have haunting them. I don't blame him! I myself have thought many times about why the heck I'm even here too! Though instead of theorizing or projecting it would be best to just ask him directly.

For spooky month I've been playing Legacy - Realm of Terror and Alone in the Dark 2. For being an actionized sequel, AitD 2 sure has a lot of crappy adventure sections. I don't mind the fighting, I just want to be able to figure things out in the adventure sections. I have no idea what's usable and what's not. Legacy's pretty fun, but my god, is it long. I started it sometime back in September and I still have a good chunk of the game left. Its Dungeon Master but kind of survival horror-y.

Legacy - Realm of Terror looks cool and I'll see if I can try it out on an online emulator whoops there isn't one available it looks like. I have a fascination with first person grid-based RPGs. For previous Halloween seasons I'd play Silent Hill and Castlevania so I'll see about playing more games next time that'll supply a wonderful anti-security blanket of anxiety and then some ghoul blasting.
