You don't have to be a language enthusiast to use a common phrase like "go to it". We use that phrase all the time where I'm from, likely the same with the Casali brothers. It's a tough level with a lot of enemies, so "go to it" is fitting; they were basically saying roll up your sleeves and get started killing monsters.
