There was a similar thread on another forum a few months back. Question here is simple enough...What levels of yours do you feel are your best work to date? Please stick to released ones. Listing a couple is fine if there are 'close calls'.

My rekkr map lol even though that one's such a fucking mess as well in hindsight
My speedmaps were pretty dope though, no joke. The only one that kinda sucked was the map where I recreated a spectrophotometer

I remember I made the same thread 3 years ago, but my list today is completely different than it was at the time. doomer.boards.net/thread/440/ti-mememe-best-mapsFor as beautiful as I made The Decline and my Circle Of Death redux, I now think that the combat is a mess and is too tight for anyone, even myself. MAP07 from Consumed Earth is sure a feat for vanilla, but my map for the Modest Challenge 2 (an ongoing vanilla mapset) is even more impressive with its openness, with additional limits of only 40 sectors and 5 enemy types, more dynamic and varied gameplay, and a very creative use of 5 spider masterminds surrounding the entire map. A map that outdone The Decline for me is MAP02 from Doomguy's Adventure (Not public), big forests on islands connected by bridges, with sector trees, sector apples, sector beehives and a giant tree that forms gigantic roots and you can visit inside, all done with stock textures just like The Decline. To top is off; the combat isn't a complete mess, as enemies only get revealed the further you go. Misri Halek Pt. II from DBP23 Evil Egypt is another, recent proud work of mine, it's non-linear on its own, but there are dozens of secrets and non-secrets to make it even more non-linear, it just feels awesome to find many hidden ways to skip over various parts of the map, truly captures a tone of an adventurous tomb.

Doomworld Mega Project 2015, "The Magical Mystery Tour Begins". I love that map and it's by far my best work I ever made for Doom.
I also like my NOVA 2 map 16 "Red Morning Light". It was inspired by Doom 2 the Way Id Did 2 and was really fun to make.
