Shit went only downhill since DB2, dbx has ugly 4x4 resolution icons and gzdb is incredibly buggy

I've been trying to use Eureka but it keeps messing up my sectors. I have the feeling it's my fault somehow, like I should be holding some key while moving lines/sectors but fucked if I know. So then I have to boot up Doombuilder.x to fix it.
Annoying.

Did you attempt to save? Some nodebuilders can't handle one sector maps.

It looks like 40oz only tried to stretch the 1 sector, without saving. This doesn't happen in the original Doom Builder 2 that I've been using since 2012, stable my ass.

And let me guess, it still doesn't work in Linux. Apparently its harder to code a map editor to work in Linux than a port.

I think Memfis is spot on, I use often Deepbsp and it's unable to build the nodes for 1 sector maps but if the player start is there it works. I'm still sticking with DB2 tbh

Lobo do you mean it doesn't automagically change the sidedef references when you move a sector from it's original position? (I actually like this bug/feature as I forget to deselect stuff all the time and end up moving them around accidentally... moving them back is a nightmare in slade since all the lines will have billions of new vertices along them but a breeze in Eureka) If so, press space in both sectors (make sure to deselect all first so you don't accidentally copy any sector properties you don't want over) and that will sort it out.

dmdr I can't remember right now how I caused it. I think I was just resizing a few stair sectors and it would suddenly leave them open, maybe with one of the sidedefs linked to the wrong sector or something like that. Kind of like the opposite of what your saying, maybe it WAS trying to automagically change them and messed up.
