YouTube (Rant)

Over the decade since its beginning, YouTube, once a place where gifted individuals could make a living off of showcasing their true talents to the entire world, has transformed into what is now a hotbed of stupid hacker wannabes trying to post tutorials, shitty memes made in Windows Movie Maker that have already been posted a million times, shitty AMVs also made in Windows Movie Maker who's sole purpose is to get cheap views and likes by other wapanese nerds, completely worthless, self-indulgent shit posted mainly by retarded unsupervised kids, or adults trying to reclaim their youth by acting like the aforementioned stupid kids, and perhaps most notably, filming suicide victims, abusing animals, assaulting innocent people in the name of sAvAgE pRaNkS, and extremist racism and homophobia.
You might know where this rant is going...
Currently, YouTube is getting a ton of shit for allowing the "right-wing" radio talk host Steven Crowder to harass and bully Carlos Maza -- a Vox Journalist -- with homophobic insults, which Carlos Maza compiled in this video.
Now if you don't know who these guys are, let me explain...
Steven Crowder a conservative talk show host who desperately wants to looks badass to his edgy viewers, but in reality just bitches about everything related to the left and rarely, if ever, does he make valid arguments against them. His podcast, Cry Louder With Crowder is the best place to witness his laughably cringey behaviour. And is also one of the most insecure people you will ever see in your lifetime. He can probably best be summarized by the picture below of him showcasing the absurdity of transgenderism by crossdressing and flashing his dick:
*sucks cock* "Gay people..." *choking on cum* "--this is how stupid you look to most of America"
Carlos Maza is a liberal Vox Journalist and a host of their political commentary series called "Strikethrough". He makes decent arguments in politics, albeit heavily biased at times.
When political shitshows like these go down, YouTube loves to plead the fifth and hide behind their Terms Of Service as if its the fucking word of Christ or something. And as we all expected, that's precisely what they tried to do originally by saying they wouldn't do anything about Crowder "becuase it doesn't violate their rules". Now if you put aside the profound flaws in treating the TOS like that, you'll see that Crowder did actually break their terms of service, which ultimately crumbled YouTube's entire hiding spot. YouTube somewhat caved and later demonitized Crowder. Oh yes, that'll teach him a lesson, it's not like completely innocent YouTubers are getting demonetized for things like singing to their hamsters, right???
Let's take a look at Terms Of Service that is oh so highly revered by YouTube, and see what rules Steven Crowder broke...
Just one sentence into the harassment and cyberbullying policy and it states, "Content or behavior intended to maliciously harass, threaten, or bully others is not allowed on YouTube.", and just beneath that, "Don’t post content on YouTube if it fits any of the descriptions noted below...'Content that is deliberately posted in order to humiliate someone'". Now, I'm no English expert, but repeatedly calling someone a "lispy queer" and a "angry little gay sprite" would be something I would associate with bullying and harassment. In a perfect world, YouTube would recognize that this clearly violates the Terms of Service which they set, and rid its platform of said violator. But no, we don't live in a perfect world, we live in fucking hell. And in hell, companies will tolerate pretty much anything so long as it lines their pockets, then play the "free speech" card should any problems arise.
The YouTube CEO later gave a bullshit apology to the LGBTQ+ community that made even Steven Crowder's apology video seem sincere which did nothing but just piss everyone off even more.
Then there's Peluchin Entertainment...
Peluchin Entertainment is a 15 year old Chilean kid that recorded himself beating his pet cat to death. Then adopting two more kittens and recording himself flushing one down a toilet filled with his own excrement, and maniacally laughing in the background. Now I think we've already established that YouTube pretty much doesn't give a shit about its harassment policies, but animal abuse? Surely they would rush to the scene and ban that little fuckstick so as to not ruin their already shitty public image, right? Nope, once again I must remind you that we live in hell. So not only has Peluchin Entertainment remained on YouTube since Dec 2018 (when he uploaded the video), but he's still getting monetized and gaining subscribers to this day.
(The two kittens are alive and well and were taken away by a friend, Peluchin is in a mental hospital and will likely never end up in prison because Chilean law doesn't allow detention of minors)
Then ReSet. You might have heard of him by now. He's that asshole that poisoned a homeless man with Oreo's filled with toothpaste back in 2017. YouTube of course did nothing and even kept the video up. YouTube only suspended him when a Spanish court forced them to do so. Fortunately, the Barcelona court recently ruled that the little cunt has to pay the man 20 000 euros and might even serve a prison sentence for this incident along with when he gave children and elderly people sandwiches filled with his cat's shit (yes, shit).
My point to all of this is that I fucking hate YouTube right now. Good YouTubers who actually want to produce enjoyable content are constantly getting screwed over by YouTube or getting bullied into fucking oblivion. Yet worthless piles of shit like Logan Paul are always exalted and often times are living the high life for being an embarrassment to humanity. It fucking pisses me off
TL;DR Fuck YouTube
TL;DR Fuck YouTube
(I apologize in advance at the grammatical errors that this rant is likely riddled with)
