I saw this some time ago
Then in Civvies video, 2:56 he says Boomer Juice for Monster. I don't know about these categories much, but isn't boomer born around 40s-60s? So, their memories would be Pong, not Doom and Quake? Someone says it's baby boomer, not boomer. But baby boomer is same age as boomer, the same thing. What is the origin of this meme? Why people who grew up on Doom and Quake are boomers who drink monster? An amusing meme, but can't make the connections.

From my limited understanding of this hellscape known as the internet, my best guess this is referring to people that grew up playing Doom are now the 'Boomers' to the younger generations coming up. We're starting to suck at technology, and ramble on about how "BACK IN MY DAY" and become uninterested in new things.

Ah one of my favorite memes... The 30 year old Doomer Boomer.
The 30 year old Boomer is supposed to be a meme poking fun at the older millennials (Gen-Y), particularly the ones from the mid to late 80's. These fellas adopt the traits of the baby boomer parents, such as physical appearance, and nostalgic mentality of things from "back in the good ol' days" (as mentioned by Justince). 30 year old boomers are typically out of touch with Gen-Z's interests. They will brag about how the older 90's & 2000's video games were the "Golden Age of Gaming" while the Zoomer (Gen-Z) will think those games are complete shit because they are old.
Example: 30 year old boomer wakes up around the ass-crack of dawn on a Saturday morning. Puts on his hand-me-down muscle shirt (previously owned by his dad since the 1990's). Opens refrigerator and picks up a sugar free Monster energy drink. *Cracks on can* ... *sips* .... "Ahhhhh" Mows lawn for 1 hour in the morning sun. Meets up with his friends, Dale, Bob, & Jim, at the lake. Goes fishing. Reminiscences with the fellas about the "good ol' days" and says "YEP... QUAKE & Doom were some good games... Remember DWANGO?"
Although I'm pushing 26 in a few months, I tend to have the 30 year old boomer mentality. I'm completely out of touch with the latest gaming, fashion, or music of the 2010's.
Here's some 30 year old Doomer Boomer memes for laughs.

Haha, then I am definitely a Boomer (but almost 40 years old), similar age period, similar feeling about games.

The doomer is the saddest meme currently
Thankfully I'm pretty far from there atm but it still depresses me to think that there are actual people like that
Unlike the 30 yo boomer which is completely made up and unrelated to the real world

I'm 33 going on 34, and I've disliked Millennials since Emo was big in the 2000s.
Though i'm sure a lot of the people who suck today, like hipsters, were emo in the 2000s.

I only laugh at these silly "Millenials destroyed this" articles. Don't take the distinction seriously. I am almost 40, not even sure where to put myself.

I think only a certain kind of millennial are lame. When I was young, people were more identified by music sub-culture, than age cohort or political affiliation. Most of the real punk rockers and metal heads back then were not PC liberal. They were more libertine, than anything.

Memes have existed for literally forever.
There was legit an ancient roman meme about emperor Caligula being a fucking goat, a few historians believe that cheeky roman sods would shitpost by making carvings and pictures of a naked goat in public spaces to illicit a laugh out of fellow shitposters.
Of course they were probably killed for it because he was a fuckin nut job but good meme lads, worth it... Or maybe I just made this up, who knows! I do remember hearing about the roman goat "meme" in school but it was an offhand comment by a teacher as we talked about Hitler for the 400th time, GCSE history was whack.
What was this thread about again?
