You called? What defines my maps anyway? I feel like the maps I make are very different from each other in recent years, in terms of gameplay and visual design.
Here's a couple more classifications:
-Classic maps -90's recreational -Specific game mode maps -Unclean speedmaps -Newbie maps -Experimental maps -Dickish Obsidian maps -Tryhard kaizo MrZzul maps for people with too much time.

Obvious generic categories would be
- Urban - Tek - Hell - Alien - Industrial (just urban?) - Space (just Alien?) - Gothic - Abstract - Natural (Caves/Forests/Desert)
But I guess more useful and specific would be things like
- Artsy (for muh art) - Unconventional (Obtuse puzzles/Odd gameplay/design) - Conventional (Standard) - Restricted (shit like 100 lines ect) - Consistent (megawads designed for a full continuous experience) - Just for Fun (Made for casual play) - Competitive (Made for UV-Max, speedrun ect) - Shit (slaughterwads ;P)

joe-ilya When I think of your maps I think of the clearly defined lines in the level geometry. Not many curves as I recall.. curves that aren't curvy.. hope that makes sense.
