Which map or maps are the most representative of certain Iwads?
Ultimate Doom E1M7 E2M7 E3M6 E4M6
Doom 2 Map11, 17 and 29 (if only Romero made more maps...)
TNT Map03, 16, 26
Plutonia Map02, 12 (That's Speed, right?) and 29.

Why E4M3 joe? That map is terrible... I think more of E4M2 and E4M6 when remembering Thy Flesh Consumed. I’d go for E2M4 in The Shores of Hell, your Inferno choice is spot on, and there are a lot of maps for E1, almost all.

Is E4M3 the map with the four way teleporter gimmick?
Episode 4 is a mixed bag anyways.

M6 I think, you mean the teleporter on top of the large central pillar surrounded by lava floor?

Whenever I think of the IWADs, the first map is always the image that comes up first. Hangar, Entryway, System Control and Congo. Besides that there's some other epic maps that really stand out.
Doom 1: E1M7, and E3M4
Doom 2: MAP13 and MAP15
TNT: Power Station, Open Season, and Shipping/Respawning (I forget their mapnumbers)
Plutonia: Aztec, Antichrist, and Odyssey of Noises (I forget their mapnumbers too)
