Can we change the name of this thread to just 'music', so that I can post my crappy new wave synth here? You can post it, regardless. The title of the thread never stopped TheEndOfUs, from posting non-metal/rock music on the Doomworld version. Our version can run the same way.

I don't like Ozzy-era Black Sabbath much. There were so many great singers that came after him. Dio, Tony Martin, Ian Gillan, Ray Gillen, Glenn Hughes...and yet people fixate on Ozzy. I guess the original singer in any band has the tendency to become "the" singer in the minds of fans.

Great cover of a great song from a great band. Eternal Nightmare might actually be my favorite thrash album of all time. This song is a BITCH to play on guitar! Breakneck speed!

Here's one I uploaded to youtube just for Halloween. Because it's that good. Vile, rotting Death Metal stench. Fuck yeah!

^ That's an amazing album, I especially love the track 'Powerstruggle of Belief', total Finnish darkness and obscurity! The album's already on Youtube in it's entirety btw. Anyway, here's an album I listened to for Halloween, I also designed a map (that's currently landlocked in Revelations of DooM) with the same name, hehe.

The album's already on Youtube in it's entirety btw. Yes, I'm aware. Although the sound quality of his upload was total shit. All my uploads are sourced lossless 1411 kbps from CD. Youtube does compress sound but when starting with lossless files you avoid the "double compression" factor that makes so many uploads sound completely awful. If you upload 320 kbps (or even worse, 192 or 128 kbps) Youtube will take that file and again compress it down to 192 kbps. So you actually wind up with a double compressed file that's well below even the rock bottom mp3 format of 128 kbps. The sound difference is dramatic especially considering CD quality is way up at 1411 kbps.

Well, hooooleee sheeet. Normally a hurdy-gurdy sounds just like a stringed bagpipe (and is equally annoying), but listen to what this guy has to throw at' cha:

Any Rotting Christ fans? One of the best black metal albums, in my humble opinion. "Fgmenth, Thy Gift" has such an addicting riff. The whole record blends aggressive and calm, sad emotions beautifully.

Anybody into Depressive Black Metal? It's not exactly my "go-to" music, but when I'm in the right mood I like to listen to it.

I've never been much into Depressive Black Metal. Although I quite like Peste Noire's debut. He has some elements of depressive black metal in there. Anyway, new Nex Carnis album rules. Death Metal from Iran. Go pick it up, and listen to Arghoslent while you're at it:
