I was reading a tutorial about teleport monster closets last night. It said that if you move your monster closet far enough away from the player, you won't hear to monsters when they wake up prior to release. I tried it on a test map and it works. The monsters can hear player sounds, but the player can't hear monster sounds. I didn't know doom was programmed that way. Just thought I'd share that.
