As the thread title states, post your real life examples of awful texturing. Doom mappers catch a lot of flak about poor design choices and mismatched flat and sidedef combos. This thread is designed to show that not even so called professionals are immune to this phenomena. Here's one from the local Fish and Chippery. Look at that flat against the wall. It doesn't even match the tile border and the tile border itself isn't even straight or matching the main floor flat. Good job tradies!

Here is a textbook example of bad texture alignment. The lower sidedef on this fence is misaligned by at least 8px to the right. Someone should have hit the A button in their Doombuilder...

In the interest of fairness, here is wonderfully textured corner architecture. Look at the indentations, giving the structure the appearance of 3D. Props to this designer. Still, probably a few too many linedefs used to complete this one, how will that run in mah vanilla?

Decent enough deathmatch map, but suffers from poor flow between classrooms and bad weapon placement.
