Here's one thing I can agree with liberals on, (there's bi-partisan support for it too). Soon NJ will be another state that you will be able to enjoy recreational marijuana. The state has never really recovered from the recession from 10 years ago. Marijuana sales and taxation will provide vitality to the state's underfunded programs. Moreover, it has just been announced that they are suspending prosecution of crimes related to marijuana possession. This will also reduce spending on having to incarcerate people for marijuana related crimes. In September the NJ senate will vote on legalization for recreational use.

Even as a non user, I fully support this. Potheads shouldnt be viewed as criminals or housed with them just because they smoke weed.
I still find potheads annoying...but not dangerous.

I’m a big believer in the illegality of the herb contributing heavily to the unwanted paranoiacal effects. Especially when you have to search for that shit in unusual environs. It played a big part in my decision to quit that stuff 3 months back. I know a lot of people think vaping is lame. But i certainly don't think it is if it's marijuana. The oils are a lot less intense, and mellow. No one can smell it too, which makes it far easier to get away with. It is very discreet. I think some people dislike weed especially for the smell. This eliminates that. It's a real game changer.

Even if it was legalized recreationally in my state, I dont think my means of smoking it would be any different. I dont think I'd carry it around with me and smoke it on the streets. I keep that shit in the peaceful tranquility of my home.

I keep that shit in the peaceful tranquility of my home. I never understood why some people feel compelled to drive around with it for a joy ride. That's probably the dumbest thing you can do.

I've never heard of someone committing a violent crime from smoking weed...So I would support this I don't think I would participate in the smoking though

I was thinking it'd be the year 3,000 before the majority came to their senses on this, I'm glad I was wrong. Hoping within the next 5-10 years the rest of the developed world will come to their goddamn senses and hop on board with this. The only lobbies still actively against it at this point are the private prisons, as far as I can tell anyway. I'm hopeful for this one.
