I can act rather irrational when the opposite sex is involved. Sometimes when I think that an attractive girl is looking at me, I might start doing or saying weird things in an attempt to look interesting I guess. It's like I'm not being myself at these moments. Also, I'm definitely much nicer with girls: I choose my words more carefully, I look for ways I can help them, I trust them easily, etc, etc. Is it unfair that I put women above men when it comes to communication and a lot of other things? Like today I learned about a female old school video game composer and got rather excited since her music seemed quite good, but then I found out that it's actually a man and at that moment I felt some disappointment. It's like the composer being male made me less interested in the songs. Stupid, right? Am I a sexist pig? Do I need to change as soon as possible or is this something that gradually gets better as you get more experience dealing with women? Or are we all just horny dumb men and we should accept that that's how we'll always be?
Do you also find yourself adjusting your behavior a lot when dealing with girls (or boys if that's who you're into)? If so, how do you feel about that? Nowadays everyone talks about how we should treat everyone equally and stuff. Do you think equal treatment is actually possible?

Treating a man equally to a woman, when it comes to interpersonal relationships is bullshit. A heterosexual male will naturally treat women differently. Moreover, you will overtime hone your abilities to get the best reactions from them.

Like, differences may be polar but they aren't exactly "from Venus or from Mars". Is it possible to treat both equally? I say, yes, even if you are straight. Heck, my asexual ass can testify to that. I said numerous times that I am a friend to both sexes. But it's not like "lets treat gals as dudes" or vice versa, just, finding the middle ground, like, it's gonna sound progressive as heck, but, ya know, human beings. Like, sure, not every human being is the same, that's the beauty of it, but putting priority over another because of a too common variable, that's kinda shitty. Tbh, the only time I would "change" my style for a girl is around the same time I would "change" my style for a boy, so to say. If you've got something cool, if you are cool, if you are decent, if you are special (in a good way), I might try and impress ya  but be an asshole, no matter what sex, I'm gonna treat ya the same. Ya might ask if this causes any friction with other people. Yes. Mostly with girls, because, conservative society and all, but once people get used to me it's only natural for me to exist, and friction lowers to ground zero levels. There's no fucken art involved in talking to women. They are human and it's quite natural to talk them... they're not going to bite you, unless you want them to. @memfis what you're describing could be chalked up to shyness and not reading the signs due to lack of experience, all perfectly normal behaviour.
About your situation with the musical composer, that's quite a natural feeling too. There is such as a thing as masculine and feminine energy, and you will associate things with either one of them subconsciously. Check out languages that feature masculine and feminine terminology. Those cultures have no problem with the definition of a man and a woman, or behaviour as being sexist. This is something the anglos struggle with to the point of trying to legislate against such thinking or speaking.
I had something not like the M/F thing but similar from that Sam Smith song The Only One. I used to hear it on the radio and really dug it until I saw that Sam was a white english dude and not the soulful black crooner I had imagined in my mind. It removed my joy from the song because now I see it as inauthentic. It's not like this dude is not allowed to sing like a black person, it's that his singing is so far removed from his actual voice that I would consider it phony and not from the heart. I get a similar feeling from songs when you don't know the lyrics so you have your own version, and when you find out the real lyrics the song loses its shine in a way.

Fuck religion in the state, fuck war, fuck white collar crimes, fuck mass media, fuck animal cruelty, fuck racism, fuck police brutality, fuck class systems, fuck our government, ..., It opened my eyes to a lot of bullshit that's been going on in the world that I had no idea about, and had me doing a lot of research to find out what kinda crazy shit has been going on behind the scenes that no one is talking about. Now that it's so mainstream and inundated in our daily lives, any fucking moron just spouts out their retarded temporary solutions to deeply systemic problems in our world and wants to start protests and revolutions to solve personal problems that have everything to do with them just being a fucking loser in life and nothing to do with the actual problems. Always demanding that the world should be carrying them around without having to take any responsibility for themselves. People making themselves unaccountable for their own suffering is why there's so much bullshit going around these days. I can't believe it's gotten as bad as it is. It's really depressing. |

I can attest to that. I have met women whose first question was "You're not a conservative, are you?" Obviously, we know how that went.
I've dated liberals before. They didn't end up working out, but it isn't an automatic dealbreaker for me. Have to look past the politcal label of someone and figure out what they're actually about.
I know that question wasn't directed at me, so sorry about the intrusion. But I had some insight and didn't think you'd mind multiple inputs.

Democrats and liberals have made it a priority to convince women that they're at odds with men. Thus simply being a man that has conservative views, or just simply not being lock-step with liberal views is considered as an affront to women everywhere. This is part of the reason why society is fucked. They've vilified men who are not lick spittle and craven to abusive relationships (being forced to agree with everything, or else!). That is, unless the man is liberal and agrees, which is a separate thing. But the fact that you can't have a dissenting view is a sad note on society.
